RE: TF FW190 GIANT ARF
I did a thread on it a while back. It's easy and does a good job for what it is. It appears to be very similar if not the same as stro spray 1000. There is a how to video on my web site. http://www.wyliewarbirds.com/howto/howto.htm The 47 is still in use my conclusion was its no better than covering but you don't have the problems in the sun wrinkling the surface. Paints just like glass work.

I'll try. KMP FW190A, 72'' w's, all composite, Sierra Retracts, OS120ax. The spinner's now 1/2 yellow and 1/2 black. Tried to do the spiralschanause (sp?) a couple of times but couldn't get it right. If I get one of these, this is the scheme I'll do.
Ok this is what RCU is supposed to be all about. The German spinner funness.... This is what I do and I’m not saying its right. I use pin striping tape. I set it in the sun and let it get warm then run the spiral also here is a great video by Ty Brown on how to do this his way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTotYOhLf0Y Here is one of those KMP full composit fw 190s we put a 50cc in. nice flying bird http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkDhQ464S3A&feature=player_embedded O ya heres what else i got going on while waiting for this bird

RE: TF FW190 GIANT ARF
These are the reasons I glass and paint.
Sagging and wrinkling are very, very bad. That right there is a great reason to glass and paint. Ok - I'm convinced.
Yes this is the biggest reason for me. The Texas heat does a number on covering.

Ya it's robart not Sierra. if you ask me it looks like they just took the uppers from the robart p47 put a different block in it and called it good. Keep it simple.
