RE: Your take on a Tiger I
ORIGINAL: hulu Without modification. Tiger I will throw the track for sure when you run it in grass.
Before I did any mods I ran My Tiger 1 in short/long/med grass, short and shag carpet and it NEVER threw a track. the only reason I upgraded anything was because I dropped it... LOL

RE: Your take on a Tiger I
I dunno why the HL Tiger 1 gets such a "bad rap"... I have had mine for a loooong time and run it in grass, dirt, mud, snow, sand, carpet, etc.... and have NEVER thrown a track, burned a board or any other problems.....Only thing that ever happened was a broken metal track from running in the snow....I put the plastic track back on and it keeps going... BTW I have Metal drive wheels, arms, and gearboxes
ORIGINAL: YHR Looks like snow to me as well. What is the temperature though. I see green leaves on the bushes still. RE: Tanks in snow...
ORIGINAL: YHR Bronze Your area doesn't get snow. It gets slush[:D] Unfortunatley that is the worst for these tanks. It just packs up in the tracks, the moisture squeezes out, and you get iced up.
Funny... Looks like snow to Me.... RE: Recommended battery packs and chargers for HL Tanks?
I have 2 chargers... 1st one is an MRC Superbrain 989....Nice charger, lotsa features but hard to program... 2nd is an old skool Apex AC auto. It's just a plug and play charger, but I use it all the time.
