RE: nitro fuel
I do remember once being told that for .18 or less engines use 20% and for over .18 engines use 30% unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer.

RE: nitro fuel
Which is why i did not even talk about the engine longevity there's too many variables that play into that aspect of the hobby.

RE: nitro fuel
First is the thing already broken in? If you dont know ask your buddy, if it is then find out what kind of fuel he was using in it and go with that. Otherwise I'd say just get a good 20% nitro fuel and remember you'll probably need to re tune to the fuel you go with if it is not the same as what he was originally using.

Ive ran an aluminum spur gear on both of my cars so far ive found the stock dtx.18 handles them fine but my OS 18 shreds them like its nothing i can only run the standard nylon ones. You ever tried running one of the aluminum spur gears?

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0
The diff mod was not mine, if you search back a bit through the post you can find out who it was basicly you make the diff into a locker by drilling the plates and bolting it together. Only downside to it is if you get too much traction you will snap an axle or damage your wheels.

take it apart and make sure all the balls are where they should be and that you didint accidently leave one of the old washers inside the diff or somthing.

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0
Ive got two evaders a savage and a t maxx gotta say the evaders are my favorite once you get the metal diff gear the only thing you really ever will have go out is the spur gear or a cv shaft and ive had both go out on my other rc's if you want a jato either sell your evader and buy one or keep the evader and buy one but believe me their not bad rc's.

however i believe most 200 mm stadium truck bodies will fit you may have to make the holes for them to work though, i remember someone using hpi or hotbodies.

Run different clutch shoes, the traxxas ones probably are generating too much friction. Try a stock set.

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0
Unless you extend the adjustment holes on the chassis to make it work, only real thing i can think of that would help. Just take a dremel tool and make the holes a little longer.
