the picco is BB that is a bolt in...as fas as the clutch goes a alluminum 2 shoe will be long lasting and will be good for a back yard runner

best words of advice i can give you is seal the engine anyway...lol... but yes you ccan upgrade and yes the driveline will hold it for awhile...i would upgrade to cvds at the least...cheap engines you can look on ebay for a used picco...stock clutch...bell and driveline will work for awhile...not the best set up but itll work...linkages will work with sum tweaking ...depending on engine ...exhaust is up 2 you...i ran mine out the opposite side of the truck to clear the shock tower...hopefully another member like snook will see this an fill you in...its been YEARS since ive had a tmaxx

a good rule is always start on a full tank and i would change the plug just to ease my mind...and kyntar said it best...nitro is a tuninig fight...from day to day ans weather changes humidity etc etc...even changing fuel brands can and usually does change a tune...thats the fun of nitro... [:D]

just take ur time and be patient....and dont lean it out toooo much....a lil rich is much better than a lil lean....oh and and the 3.3 was the biggest small block....the losi 3.4 is the biggest...ive got one in a revo....HUGE difference...take care of that 3.3 man the are good engines they just need a lil help and patience

most any of the bb mounts with any bb will go faster...but you can always re gear the revo with a slayer complete trans you can get one off of ebay for cheap they have close ratio gears thatll pick up a lil...the os and the picco are both good choices and you an check my gallery i have a picco...but my two fastest revos are my lrp .28 and my dynamite big red...they both out run the picco and the os....but i had a small block revo that would flat haul...had a losi 3.4....that was a killer fast revo....

the 2.5 is a shorter chassis and to me are ALOT more fun to drive or as sum ppl say "bash" but if ur gonna race the longer chassis is what you have to have...so it depends on what u want out of the truck...cost wise prolly pretty close to equal...i doubtt if ull save much from buying new then converting...

ive had 13 revo 4 jatos 5 savages 3 tmaxxes a few ofnas and the list goes on.....EVERY ENGINE ive had onef the first thingsi do is seal em... ive learned that fighting a tune is 99% caused by air leaks of one form or another and a 4.00 $ tube of rtv and a hour of my dau eliminates those problems for the most part... traxxas enigines are good (sometimes) i really think it depends on the day of which it was built...but these problems could and do occur in MUCH more exspensive engines... you dont need a ton in this instance a dab will do....just take your time

good luck...i cant find anything on the .26....the ebay seller i sentyou too is in australia...but if ur wanting to stay with that engine you may wanna buy a couple of rods pistons and sleeves...thatll keep ya goin awhile...
