RE: CX3 Keeps spinning around
If it is not a mechanical issue and it still spins, you can adjust the pots. Turn the remote on and leave it on. 1. unplug battery 2.turn the "Gain" pot all the way down. (left) This pot is used to adjust how much sensitivity your gyro has to correct unwanted movement, so the closer you get it to being still in the air before utilizing it, the better the gyro will do. 3.Turn the "Proportional" pot all the way left and then all the way right so you have a good idea of the center position, then set it to center position. 4.plug battery in and throttle up slowly. See which direction the heli spins. 5.unplug battery and make VERY SMALL ADJUSTMENTS. *Turning the pot to the left will make it spin right and turning the pot right will make it spin left. 6.Each time you make an adjustment you need to unplug battery. After adjustment plug it in and throttle up slowly until the heli has very little spin as its almost impossible to remove it completely. 7.Once this is accomplished find the center of the "Gain" pot. 8.Plug it in and let it get off the ground just a little and check to see if the tail is twitching. 9. Turning the "Gain" pot to the right adds sensitivity and it will try more to correct movement and will cause unwated twitching. Turning it left will eliminate the twitch and allow the gyro to control unwanted movemet. Adjust it like the other pot until there is very little/no, twitch. Thats it. These pots are adjustable because sometimes they just HAVE TO BE adjusted. Mine will sit in the air and I can put the remote down and watch it hover. Good luck.

RE: Blade CX-2
i need some help... i recently bought the Xtreme Productions cnc racing upgrade [link=http://www.xtremecx2.com/servlet/the-125/Blade-CX-CX2-%22A%22/Detail]Blade CX CX2 "A" Xtreme CNC Racing Conversion Kit[/link]. and now when i fly the heli, it spins and is very unstable. It doesn't spin in place it makes circles about 3 feet wide and gets worse as it crashes down to the ground. Anyone know why, and how i can fix it????

i have checked and rechecked everything 2-3 times all is good...........a while back i had robo do a little work for me he said that he tested it before he sent it back and that it was working good so he fixed the problem which is why i sent it to him in the first place. As soon as i got it....it was doing the same thing so i am gonna go out on a limb and blame it on the Tx or unlikely but still possible the crystals. Thats all i can do i guess is get a new Tx with a set of crystals. Also i see gpach has a Tx and a reciever for sale so i may just kill two birds with one stone and buy them. gpach i sent you a p.m. on that

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum
well i charged up the battery and put the heli outside on the grass. powered everything up. it was working ok a little twitch but not bad. then It wouldnt respond at all to any control inputs so i went over to retrieve it and it spooled up full throttle and then stopped and it fell out of the air about 3 feet or so, no damage.the throttle and the throttle trim were all the way down. this thing does ehat it wants to do . lol and i am lost with what to do now with this thing

thats the funny part even the motor will kick up, it wont really spool up but it kicks the blades around a bit then stops then starts.....etc etc. hmm i just tried your idea US hobby and it still did it. i did however flip the crystal around and..... it stoppped, completely stopped then i unplugged the battery and plugged it back in and WHAMMO it was twitching again. then i put the antenna right where it was the first time i tried, and it stopped, and when i moved it and pointed it away it did it again...... VERY CONFUSING!!!!

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum
hmmmm the battery seems fine. it spools right up and the controls sometimes work flawlessly, it just doesnt stay working good long enough to fly. The battery is brand new only a few months old but it has done this since the day i bought it. i have checked the antenna and crystals all are seated properly. sometimes it twitches on its own even when i am not touching the controls it just sits there and bzzt bzzt bzzt bzzt it starts twitching and if i touch the antenna wire sometimes it stops but it never lasts more than a minute or two.

Robo hey, i got the receiver back today and i tried it out..........Same problem the main rotor wouldnt work on that channel so i plugged in the tail rotor channel and it worked. So i looked at the receiver and the yellow wire came off of its soldering joint, so i played around and found the joint where it broke. I held it on the joint where it broke and it worked awesome, also fixed the twitchy action with the rerouting of the antenna. Iam going to re-solder the connection. Once again thanks a ton Awesome job. rick p.s. DAMN POSTAL SERVICE!! lol
