Loss of radio contact
Hey guys, i have an issue that completely has me boggled. Was out yesterday with the monsoon, and after roto start button issues and back plate issues, i put the pull start back on it and finally got the thing going. The monsoon was running good, when I collided with my friends truggy and i flipped over. I lost all radio contact at this point. While i was going over to filip it back over, I tried braking to stop tires and nothing happened. Once i got it flipped over, i tried everything on the transmitter and nothing worked. I replaced all batteries in transmitter and receiver and still nothing. Any thoughts on why i would suddenly lose all radio contact? The collision wasnt violent, was just in front of a jump and the jump caused it to roll over. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

RE: I need another engine!!!
What do you use to seal the engine? Is it as simple as pulling off the head, cleaning and sealing? I know I have a leak in my 3.3 and have some minor issues with tuning. I believe this would fix my problem. I have never heard about sealing it and am not sure of the process. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: Redcat Monsoon Thread
Hey guys, Thought Id make a new post in this thread. I received my Monsoon XTR last week and had the pleasure of breaking it in yesterday. I have to say, Im really pleased with this truggy. I was originally going to buy an RC8T, but decided to go with the redcat for the lower cost. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. The thing is a beast and runs great. The monsoon handles great, has great low end out of the gate and top speed is great. I love this thing already. Ill be replacing the pull start, as i wore some blisters on the fingers. I had to trim the body some, to fit better and not interfere with the shocks. All in all, I read this entire thread before making my purchase decision. You guys had some great info here and that helped me with making the right choice. Now when im tired of bashing the 3.3 TMaxx, I can get this thing out and bash it.

RE: Monsoon XTR shock/accesory options
Thanks Mick, Ill take a look at those shocks. I ordered a set of those bushes, but will also look in the parts bag that came with the truggy. I didnt even think to look in that bag. Its in the bottom of my box, so out of site out of mind i guess.

Monsoon XTR shock/accesory options
Hey guys, Any one have a recommendation for shock upgrade? I broke a shock cap yesterday and was thinking maybe there might be an aftermarket shock that would fit. The plastic shock caps seem a little flimsy for bashing. Also, are there any other options for the rear adjust bushing for the rear suspension. The piece im referring to is the little white bushing that holds the pin for the lower rear A-Arm. I sheared it right out yesterday when i landed the wrong way. Fortunately, these things didnt halt my day of fun. I broke out the TMaxx to continue my bashing assault. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Jeff

New Monsoon XTR owner
Hello all, Just received my monsoon xtr yesterday. Its my second vehicle. Im also the proud owner of a TMaxx 3.3, which is an awesome truck. Cant wait to get this beast fired up and broken in. I have a couple of questions. Any recommendations on shox/shock oil setup? Will any 1/8 truggy shox fit? What mods are recommended? Any sidegaurds/mud guards fit this vehicle? As far as after market parts and hop ups, any other vehicle parts fit this thing? Ive read that some of the aftermarket rc8t and losi eight T bodies will fit, with some modification. Thanks for your time. Ive spent alot of time looking throught the tmaxx forums and have found a ton of useful information and am hoping to find the same for my redcat. Jeff
