RE: TOWER HOBBIES SUCKS
my issue with tower is there slow slow slow shipping. If I order from horizon before 2 it ships that day. If I order from tower it can take them up to 3 days to ship. Because of this I nolonger order from them, I have found the support to be good.

I have run Lighting, E-flite and monster power motors. I have never had a issue with any of them. Only issue I have with Hacker motors is cost.

question has anyone had to reduce the throw for the elevator? Mine balanced slightly nose heavy, but kept snapping out of loops. I rechecked CG and finally set D/R to 1/2 inch instead of 5/8 and expo to 30 and snap went away.

Well this is a beautiful model and works great as electric. I think over the winter going to replace the retracts with lado's unless eflite comes out with a set for this size.

Here is a build question, did people use the CA hinges? If you did how many years have you been flying with it? I am slightly worried how the ca hinges would hold up so thinking of pin hinge.

Sbrian I am buying the arf tomorrow and will also be building it as a electric. It will be my second conversion, first one this size. I am looking for a good 4-blade prop for this that will not cost a arm and a leg.

first flight of the year and only 2nd over all with this plane. This is a great flyer, with the lightning 50 and 5S plenty of power and lands like a dream. Allot of my club Mates were out today and really liked the look of it.

got a stupid question, I am trying to take out the wrinkles in this planes stabilizer and not coming out. looks like it is just adhering to the balsa, but the bubbles remain. Using a H9 Iron set to 5. Would I be better to use a heat gun?

RE: TOLEDO SPECIAL 40 ARF by Hangar 9
I only got to fly it once before the weather turned. I did shoot video, but it turned out badly. The weather is just starting to get better; I hope to have the TS out with in a month. I am currently converting a H9 p-47 and that is eating all my hobby time. I thought the TS flow great, but I had the ailerons set wrong so way touchy.
