RE: HPI Baja Flux
as for MAP.. theres always a way to bend the rules, ie: a retailer could list a product that has a MAP of $1000 as a freebie when you buy this keyring for $800! ^^

RE: HPI Baja Flux
im confused as link no longer works, is the OP complaining that this particular product is being sold too cheap from a competitor then posts it on one of the most established RC forums on the net, bascially advertising a cheap product!? if so... lolz ^^

Shock Oil?
hi guys :) ok need a bit of advice please! i have an FG Monster Beetle Pro for about 7 years, never changed the oil in my shocks once since i had it! ..only because there was no need to. But over the past year ive pretty much upgraded most of it to alloy (especially the rear end). Anyway because of this the rear end has dropped & theres very little rebound (if any) due to the extra weight so basically the rear end has very little shock travel & im guessing this is down to the shock oil & springs as. So what i wanna know is which oil should i get? im guessing a i need much thicker oil & better springs (the springs at the moment are the stock FG ones) ..i do alot of jumping & bashing & racing etc.. bit of all sortes really, but i want my rear shocks to work as they did so they have full rebound again! ive been looking at the 40wt silicone but i dont have a clue really as ive never done an oil change before & same goes for the springs ? any ideas please? ..the front ones seem fine still & are nice & stiff with full rebound as my front end is still pretty much stock. thanks guys :)

Fusion LX60b Pro?
Hi guys, i got this charger, but im not too sure what settings to use! i have a 5000mah 6v pack.. this one: http://vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/info_147.html my charger does cycle charges.. so what ive done is set the discharge at 1a which is the highest setting & i set the charge rate to 3.5a (max it goes to is 6a) Are these settings ok, im guessing with my battery pack i could go upto 5a as its a 5000mah pack, but didnt wanna over do it on the 1st couple of cycles, Also i dont know if ive set the charger correct.. atm its got the elapsed time ticking away with the D symbol (to indicate discharge) flashing so im guessing its working? How long does it take roughly to discharge? atm the display says: D > C (The D is flashing which indicates discharge?) 59:46 (Time elapsed) 00752 (this keeps going up slowly but have no idea what it is, it started at 0 i think?) NM - 0.76A (guessing this is the actual discharge rate?) 6.540V (this stays pretty much the same & im guessing its the charge left in battery pack, if so shouldnt it be going down?) I have the manual but its very vague & until this charger i just had a basic Delta Peak so this is all kinda new to me :s any info much appreciated! ta :)

need some advice please..
Hi guys ok just picked up a new 5000mah 6v pack.. http://www.vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/info_147.html 5x 1.2v C-Cells Capacity : 5000mAh Weight : 370g Measured at 5000mA (0.2C) discharge. Max Discharge Current : 30,000mA (30 Amps) Max Charge Current : 5000mA Fitting : Tamiya & Futaba Size : 111mm x 46mm x 24mm In the past ive always done a quick charge as my old charger is kinda basic as i jus connected the batter to it & pressed the start button then wait till it beeps & its done! but this charger is old & 5000mah werent around back then when this was released so im guessing its not ideal for charging 5000mah? ... http://www.ironfoot.co.uk/shop/index...&productId=441 anyway picked up a new charger a while back & not used it yet, as its a little confusing as i aint too great with the math behind charging batteries so hopefully you guys can help! new charger i have now is this one.. http://www.v-eastonline.com/products/ULTRAMAT-6-.html & batterys i wanna charge is C-Cells (5x 1.2v cells) 6v 5000mah pack & same again but 4600mah which is my old battery but still working fine. any info/help on this much appreciated as i dont wanna damage my new battery ive just bought & i wanna kinda understand what these mean on my charger: Charge Current, toggle switch with options of 0.2 / 0.5 & 1.0 & Delta Peak mv/cell, toggle switch with options of 5, 10 & 20 thats just dbl dutch to meh! ? in manual it says to charge mah batteries using the 10mv option for the delta peak option? & for the current im guessing with each cell being 1.2v ..should i select charge current @ 1.0 which is the highest? any help much appreciated, ta :)

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread
to what ive heard about the x-cans... waste of money, they add nothing to power/performance & to what i read they are actually worse than the stock pipes on FG's! basically they just cosmetic piece of metal! ..so prob wise to steer clear mate :/

Also, the inside has lots of sharp bits of fibre (stabbed myself about 20 times so far lol) should i give it a quick sand on the inside to make it smooth & if so again, should i go over it with summit to seal it? ta guys :)

cheers for info dude well i contacted them & they no longer have them & they dont make them no more! he said due to FG parts not being as popular as they once were they are not making parts for them no more!? correct me if im wrong... but im pretty sure almost everyone who owns an FG when it comes to hopping them up prefer Elcon over any other alloy! last time i looked on elcon website they had them for around $40 a pair... now if i want them, only place seems to be DDM & they want $70 for the pair :( dunno what to do now :( lol

RE: Cant find part number :( ?
ok had a look at them bolts on the exploded diagram, but still not sure, all i know it was the one that went through the gear plate in the top right corner & it also went through the fixing bracket for my torque DOM pipe to mount it? so think its the 6183/2 guess will have to wait till i go home to check
