You just can't beat anything that has the word stick in the name they are just great flyers. A .40 size with an os .70 four stroke has been my favorite for years. Just my .02

RE: Has the extreme Heat stopped your flying
I guess you can say the heat is keeping me from flying. On the 4th my shop and well I guess pretty much everything I own except my house burned to the ground because someone flipped a cigarette out the window in front of my house then while I was fighting the fire I went down with heat stroke just got home from the hospital today and my shop and motorhome are still smoking so I guess it will be a little while before I can fly again.

RE: Interesting engine on craigslist
I never said it was practical I just said it was kinda interesting. It would definitely have to have a few upgrades before it could be used but I don't deal with gas engines on my planes just nitro so I wasn't sure if this was something that had been developing or not it was the first one I had seen.

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/tag/3054527945.html I thought this was kinda interesting but if you run it on propane I'm wandering how it gets oiled internally?

Hey Jaybird do you know what the center of gravity is on that BUSA eindecker is ? I have one I got second hand and had to work it over and recover it about to mount the motor but I haven't been able to find the cog anywhere on their website or anywhere else for some reason maybe I just haven't looked hard enough. Thanks Tracy

RE: pay-pal money FROZEN
I am in the middle of a PayPal nightmare rite now myself. I use an iPhone for everything and I thought I lost mine about a month ago and didn't think a whole lot about it just went and got a new phone and sim card. I have never received $ through pp just spent it usually buying plane stuff from eBay or off of rcu. Well I started getting emails about things being bought and sold on eBay and $ being received on pp so I checked my account and sure enough I had been hacked because all my user names and passwords were saved on my phone well pp and eBay wouldn't let me close my account and I still can't check either one because someone has changed my passwords and I have talked to them till I'm blue in the face and they don't give a rats butt about it and talk to me like I'm a criminal when I have called them and tried to get it figured out they just tell me I have a balance of $1,897.00 I have to take care of before they will even talk to me about the problem. They are very irritating.

RE: Im depressed!
Man some of y'all sound like until everything you have is paid for and all your kids are grownup and moved out that you should work all the time until you have grandkids and just neglect your spending time with your own children as they grow up I myself work more than I should but still have time to go fly with the one boy I still have at home and my only grandson. And my household has not suffered from this hobby and I have more kits and engines than me or my son can build in a lifetime. My wife says it a sickness but I have never let it get in the way of the priorities in my life and I've been in this hobby since the early 80's

RE: Alert: Bad Seller, do not buy from this person
I have bought a lot of engines on here and the bay but I look for engines that are wore out or broke because I enjoy working on them and I have only been disappointed once when I bought an engine for parts and the crank was bent after the seller said he didn't think it was but I didn't blame him because I got the feeling he was honest about what he knew of the engine and it was sold at parts price. But it all comes back to the seller giving honest info!
