RE: HK Small Bolt Hydro same as HOTR
This helps, Thanks. Whats the best way to test this system. I just set the boat up and as you most likeley know the instructions are very limited. I Fly planes and this is my first Boat with water cooling system. Tried to find a digram for the set-up but nothing so far. I can blow into the opening in the back of the boat and yes it's clear, not like blowing into a straw but the air does travel through. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Just can't decide. Pulling my hair out.
ORIGINAL: BackIn After several years away from RC, I am getting back in. I want to buy a couple of ARF or RTF jets, but the choices are driving me nuts. I have been looking, pricing, comparing, and reading reviews of diffrent planes. I wan't ease of setup, thus ARF at least. Good durability, so EPO or EPP foam. Parts availability is a must as well. I also want to put retracts in whichever I get. Customer support from whoever I buy from would be nice as well. Price on all of these are under $160. I am almost certain one of the 2 planes is going to be the F/A-18 Tiger Scheme ARF from Hobby-Lobby for $159.99. I like the idea of the Blue Angels with the 2.4GHz, but I love the tiger design. So help me out with my decision, I would like to order soon. If anyone has any coupon codes or anything, that would be appreciated as well. How are the 2.4GHz RTF systems? I would use my 72MHz radio for the ARFs, but breaking into 2.4 would be nice too. I have read a lot of mixed reviews about Banana Hobby, but they seem to have some of the best prices, and largest selection in stock. Are there any other options?
The prices are good but that is about it. I would READ more. I do not want to bash anyone but I would THINK before you buy from them.

RE: Phase 3 Mini Spitfire ep
ORIGINAL: Wheelnut Yes they are, you just don't realize it yet. Cut off the connector (about 3"s back) from the ac adaptor that came with the plane. Strip the two wires back enough for you to connect the alagator clips that came with your Onyx. If you don't have alagator clips for your charger leads, I suggest you make some. I have been doing this for all types of batteries I charge.
Just had 1 more question. Do i not use the equinox balancer???? Is it ok to charge a lipo w/o the balancer as I have never done this before. Just want to make sure that i do not bolw my house up. Thanks,Eric

RE: Phase 3 Mini Spitfire ep
Thanks but I have a good charger. i have an onyx 230 w/ an equinox balancer. The issue is that these single cell batteries only have 1 connector (the same little black one that is on the NIhm batteries) and they are not compatible with the bigger chargers. Thanks,Eric
