step down voltage?
well I'm trying to put together a 6 volt rx system on my raptor 50 would realy like to put together a 2s lipo setup but I'm poor right now :( I built my own rx pack with 5 AA 2500mah all soldered up. My main question is would I need to drop the voltage going into the gyro & rudder. I have a gy401 with a s9253 servo. what do you people recomend.

when I first started flying I picked up a micro heli , then got a exceed raptor g2, then bumped it up to a exi 450 (clone of the t-rex 450) now I'm flying a raptor 50 and I wish I would have just started with what I have now. Its so stable in the air, easy to hover, the wind dosnt toss it around. My .02 GO BIG!

The other day I was out flying my raptor 50. My elevator servo went toast in mid flight and some how....pretty much luck I landed the thing perfectly without that servo working. Talk about an adrenalin rush

I been messing around with 400 to 450 sized helis for a while now and I just jumped up to a .50 sized nitro heli and I would have to say WOW! I swear it just sits there and hovers for ever. I wish I would have gotten this heli in the first place. To me its easier to fly it being larger and more stable.

try adjusting the length of the pushrod a turn or two with the ball link. That helped my issue that was simular to your problem.

Well I'm looking for a few things for my raptor 50 not sure what version. What shops do you people use? I'm looking for some lighter paddles those stock ones are just way to heavy for my liking. I've seen a few neon green parts such as the paddles landing gear and tail rotors but cant find that damn website I found them on originaly. If you come across them let me know.

Batteries
I just bought a used raptor 50, Things been sitting for a while so the batteries are probaly toast. What are some options for batteries. It came with 4.8v 4 cell 2000 mah . If it would save me a few bucks I would be interested in making my own battery packs.
