RE: Top Flite DC3 Radial Engine Replicas
Hi Bob, "unless they come out with a Super Connie arf. Then katie bar the door...who ever manages to make a Super Connie ARF...willl ge my check in the mail that day." Not being one to tell tails...why don't you ask that question to GMP or Giant Model Products. Not saying anything else. Twinman

RE: The Nakajima G10N1 Fugaku
jeffk464 You are correct more than you know. I have specialised with multiple engine models for most of my years in this hobby, but when I did the 80" B-17 and four glow engines that took four hours to set up the first time and almost one hour each time to get ready to fly...that was it. Still working on the sound system that is missing on the electrics. Installed a Ram system on the electric B-17 with amplifier and two speakers. On the ground was great, and with RC switch was fun to scare guys, (who then disucussed my ancestors,) who were flying in other pilot stations, but in the air, could not hear it. Six engines..was not going to happen! Just call me Wuss.

RE: The Nakajima G10N1 Fugaku
Thank you sir for your kind words. Job that pays for the hobby gets in the way. This plane would have been 50% bigger than the B-29 to fly to the West Coast, drop "Something" and fly back. Fortunately, as you said, the war ended before they could get it flying. There were planned versions including one with over 200 guns to fly above B-29 formations and fill the air with bullets.

RE: Single Engine Takeoff & Flight
I TOTALLY agree that this is a VERY good exercise and the fact that you made it with all the rudder input necessary to do this and not rely on trim and other makes all the more important and a good learning tool. The point is that it is very good practice for engine out. Note,,,personal experience..the first time I did this,,had helper hold the plane..tail dragger, while I went to full power one only one engine. DO NOT DO THIS!!. You must have speed over the rudder to hold a somewhat straight line on roll out and increase the rudder as you build speed. Full power and let go...an instant 90 degree turn...EXCITING,,but not recommended or safe!! Congratulations.

RE: ELectric Twin Engine Setup
The larger the control surface,,,particularly on a twin the more aerobatic, but also MUCH BETTER CONTROL on engine out. I have gone on a twin fuse ugly stick at 50% larger. Good Luck

RE: ELectric Twin Engine Setup
Completely depends upon what you want the plan to do. More aerobatic and more stable, twin rudders and good size. Most twins fly very well with one rudder, but make is big and LARGE control surface. Best of Luck. PS Not Politically correct...Merry Christmas

RE: Twin engines with reverse rotation
MVVS also supplies reverse rotation cranks, Fox did..not sure now,, If you own the older Super Tigres, with the bolt on front crank case, you can rotate the front housing 90 degrees and it will happily run in reverse. Zinger also makes reverse rotation props as does Master and APC. Twinman

RE: ELectric Twin Engine Setup
Funny you should bring this up. I am working on a "Project" that I had to know just this point. Yes, you can "Y" the reciever connections together and it works. Still need two controllers. I am also working with one Large battery so that one motor cannot fail..OK OK..from battery failure anyway. Good Luck
