RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
You don't really need the .28RR. The .28 spec1 does great and you can get it for about $100. I found some servos on ebay for only $10 with 280oz. of torque and they work great. I would also get some aluminum clutch shoes. I still use the stock clutch bell but i am thinking of going up to a 16 tooth instead of the 14 tooth. Its hard to keep the front wheels on the ground. Done all that stuff to my Terror and it runs great. I did a wheelie for over a block the other day.

RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
Is anybody interested in buying a stock .25 engine off of the Terror for parts or rebuild. It has a roto start backplate on it. I put an Axial .28 in my Terror and just installed some aluminum clutches in it and it screams.

RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
Was a co-workers dirt track (little Bristol) the other day and was using 2wd only and towards the end the truck sounded like the clutch was slipping. Got it home and blowed it off and tried it again and it was fine. Took the Terror out today and had the 4wd working but it looked like the rwd was slipping, it won't even do a wheelie. Has anybody else had this problem (BB)? is it the rear differential? Tyson

RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
Don't know much about sealing a motor but i do know an Axial .28 does fit in the Terror and is a good engine. i just put one in last week. i also have a exhaust deflector on my pipe. you can get it at Tower Hobbies too. i got it on there so i can put my finger at the end of the tip and kill the motor and i didn't have to cut a hole in my new body. here's a pic of the .28

Has anybody switched over to a 14mm hex hub yet? Is it possible? Is there any wheels that fit the stock tires? My tower terror runs great, it will do a wheelie for a block(no engine problems yet-knock on wood, looking for a Axial 26 or 28 though).

RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
Got my truck out today and that thing is a rocket!!!! I've got it all broke in now. Had a few problems getting it started at first but called tech support and they were real helpful. All it was is the engine needed warmed up with a hair dryer. The servos were a little slow but I but a hump pack in it and it's twice as better now. Overall happy with truck, worth the money.[:D] Tyson
