RE: What does the numbers means (props)
Rememberalso to just keep in the back of your mind in case you change the prop pitch and or size. look for the following- If pitch is too small, the spinning prop could actually slow down a vehicle. If too large, you will be splitting air into vortices fore and aft or each blade Prop Length, Too small, the prop spins fast, wastes energy churning air and does less than its best. Usually you can hear the over winding, it gets loud and just isnt going fast. Too large, the prop's air drag is high, and you might not succeed in using up most of your allotted power, which you would prefer to do, to go as fast as possible. Rob

RE: Balancing low-wing plane
Now, I have one for a good argument that is controversial in nature. Measuring the CG with the Retracts Down or in up positions ? I have seen many argue the point to death. What do you all think ? In my knowledge, gear down and locked. The A/C is most unstable at the time of low speed and dirty on take off and landing. It's my understanding also, the real aircraft are also cg checked in down and locked configs. Comments please :)

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang
You are putting an OS .32 ? Man, you are going to have a rocket- The plane with an os .25 is fast as a bat and small like one. Keep your rates to low on the control surfaces- Good luck, love to see some pictures of this thing fly. The ones at our club are rockets Rob

RE: World Models Mach II ??????
I have been flying this plane now for a few months. also put an OSmax 46. The plane will go verticle like no ones business then land so smoothly. you can't go wrong with this plane. One of the best cheaper ones on the market to really have fun with, especially in crosswinds like we have at Rcworld where I fly.

What do the "J" mounts look like ? I can't seem to see them on the plans and cannot find an actual part or know what it looks like. i know the spars or i think I know, the spar goes into the j mount channel ? Any assitance would be greatly appreciated. thanks Rob

RE: TF Contender maidened
I can't remeber the weight off hand exactly, but i want to say it was around 5.5 or 6 lbs. The K&B flew it very well. I was flying it off a grass strip and had enough power to get airborn and to climb vertically. Landing was a breeze on approaches and touch downs. One thing I do remeber doing- I reinforeced the firewall with 1/4" triangular stock and epoxied it well. The K&B i had was heavy and pulled the plane. I wanted to make sure the wall was strong

The funny thing I saw today at Nall. It was warned that No Cigarette butts were to be left on the runway or pitts area. However, you could find Dog poop in some spots of the pitts area. Why no one from Nall's staff cleaned it up. Oh well...
