RE: How important is dihedral for a Low Wing?
let me answer several questions raised during this discussion: - the wing is 100% symetrical, so flipping the fuse is possible without having to mod the wing saddle - the ARF wing comes in two separate halves, so putting some dihedral in the wing would not be a big deal i would not use the plane for pattern type flying, however the fact that in a straight low wing configuration the rudder input would yield a reverse effect could be bothersome for my liking ... However I found a RCM plan available for the "low wing Ultra Stick" and it looks like having the wing without any dihedral (see pic)... so i believe in this configuration the plane MUST fly just fine (i guess[8D])

How important is dihedral for a Low Wing?
Hi, i'm cosidering bashing a shoulder wing Ultra Stick ARF into a Low Wing airplane (see pics) the ARF is a straight wing, and by flipping the fuse upside down it is possible to relocate the wing on the underside. Now if the wing is left alone, the plane would have no dihedral. Being a low wing, i am wondering how stable (read: easy to fly) it would be. (?)

RE: Official F27 Stryker Part 8: Beginners to Custom Darkness
hi, I would like to know what's the prefered Spektrum Rx? I'm getting the Stryker C version with the servos but without the radio. Will be using the Dx6i I don't want to cut into the wing for the AR6000's satellite so that would leave the AR5000... anyone using those with success? Any other good alternatives? thanks

2 Batteries, 2 Switches & 1 Regulator?
If two 6v batteries & 2 switches are used can there be just one regulator (5.1 v)? That would mean that the regulator is connected from the Rx via Y harness to both switches, right? Seems OK, just want to make sure. Thanks
ORIGINAL: jeffk464 I just wish cmp would make 60 sized warbirds, its either 40 or 120, what the heck. 60 sized flies alot better then 40 for basically hardly any extra cost.
I second that thought! It's a nice plane but in a 60 -90 size it would be much more tempting[8D]

Thanks for the replies guys, Rich I only order from TH as I live overseas now and the shipping costs prohibits me from ordering from individual items different suppliers. The problem is when I can't find on TH site what I need as their search engine does not always show everything they have... as en example I can't find a set of 8-32 screws to mount the ST 2300 [8|]

Hi, I have en electric foamy powered by a 11.1V 1800 lipo with BEC it flies great, however the charging time between flights seems enless can I switch to A123? I know they can be used for Rx (2 cell) but would a 3 cell power the motor OK? would the size/weight be more than the lipo?

RE: Gyro & DX6i please help!
The only way I figured it could work would be like this: Connect the rudder to 2 channels that are slaved on the Tx and have them "switched" from one to the other on a Gear switch to create 2 independent circuits. Now the Rudder servo would be plugged to both channels via a Y. One circuit of the Y would be plugged directly to one of the channels AND on the other circuit (other channel) there would be the Gyro in series as required. The switch would "select" between the two circuits. So on one position of the switch the gyro would work and on the other position it would not be activated. First, is this possible? second can I program it with the DX6i?
