RE: MDS 40 engine
I happen to love my MDS engines, I wish they were still in production.. I own probably half a dozen of them at the moment ranging from 40 size to 60 size. I've never had a major problem with any of them. in fact I recently purchased a .40 for around 12 dollars on Ebay that had been involved in a crash and had a cracked case near the carburetor.. I basically bought some permatex black and sealed it, and it has absolutely 0 problems running.. Don't get me wrong, I love my OS engines and Saito engines as well ... But MDS has treated me equally as well ...Now dont get me started on Magnums... Now those are Garbage !!

RE: Carl Goldberg Staudacher kit parts
Hi Paul, thanks for your reply. I happened to be the one of the persons interested in the wing kit on Ebay. I didn't bother bidding though, I just watched the auction. I figured I have too many projects going at the moment. Anyhow, I appreciate you offering up the plans that was nice. I haven't really done a whole lot with the airplane since I purchased it. I did in fact find a canopy though, from a company that specializes in carbon fiber parts and I believe they were in the UK. I purchase the canopy about a year or so ago. I also purchased a brand new fiberglass cowling from Fiberglass Specialties. So other than not being able to locate the landing gear I have an almost a complete aircraft now. I'm gonna have to find some time to finish it off and get it up in the air. Once again, I appreciate your reply. Thanks Wade

Spinner backplate adaptors
Just a quick question.. Is there anywhere that sells crankshaft bushings seperatly? What I'm refering to is the 4 that come on a little tree when you purshase a new spinner. Such as Dubro or Goldberg plastic spinners. I used to have a bunch of them but theve just dwindled down to nothing, after giving many of them away over the years helping out fellow modlers at the field. I would just like to replace some inventory. I believe most of mine were acumulated through the purchase of new spinners. Please advise if they can be bought individually.. Thank you Wade

Carl Goldberg Staudacher kit parts
Hello all, I just scored a super deal on a Goldberg Staudacher. The build is about 85% complete. I'm in need of a couple of things for her though. It came less a canopy/plans and landing gear. I think I can kinda figure out something on the gear, however I've not so much even found a good pic of it online. I've tried to contact Goldberg, but theve been bought out by Great Planes, Or at least that's who's doing buisness with the remaining Goldberg kit parts. The rep stated on the phone, that there weren't any STAUDACHER parts to be had. They were completely out of stock on everything for that bird. She recommended E-bay. So my question is....? Anyone out there with a new or in good shape used canopy?? Possibly the landing gear set. I have a Great Planes Extra 300s kit canopy that seems to be awefully close. It contours nicely to the turtledeck but its off a bit in the front. If I have to, I may be able to get this canopy to fit. I would just prefer the factory one, before I add heat and possibly damage a nice canopy. What about the plans ? Anyone out there put one in and still have the plans floating around ? Any help would be appreciated.. Thank you Wade

RE: Dragonfly 22D
I just recieved one yestersay plugged in the battery and she went crazy!!! I think im gonna gut it and install brand name electronics. I was very dissapointed altough I only paid $110 for it, due to a late nite auction end on ebay. Even worse when i got to looking at it after it thrashed around on my garage floor I noticed that "it" stripped out the main gear so I ordered one from hobbyjapan and that is where I am now. Wish I could have spread some good new to ya !!

Walkera 22d Helicopter
Hello all, I just bought a hornet knock off called the dragonfly 22d. Heres the deal even though I have heard horror stories I felt the price was right and i purchased one. Alright that said and done, I get it in the mail yesterday and decide to play with it, first things first I charge the 650mah pack for close to 2 hours, then i proceed to plug it in to the chopper (note the same plug I unpluged it from) and this little chopper goes ape crazy with the throttle stick down it accelerated of the the ground and was headed for my restored 64 bug. I then grabbed it up hurting my hands a bit got the thing unplugged and realized it stripped the main gear some how or another. Can I walk into my local hobby shop and replace it with an actual ms2 hornet main gear? So I dont have to wait 6 weeks for one to come in. Anyone knowledgeable on this matter please reply !!! Thanks

RE: 16 bit subsystem error when installing simulater
It's a sim from rc expert, Im not sure of the name but I think its called true flight the exact error message says "C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application". Like I said before I have encountered this same problem and it really wasnt a difficult fix I had to cut and paste a program in the the repair file of windows but I have forgotten how? I was told by real flight that this error has top do with windows service pack 2. I would appreciate any help out there?? I do not believe that this has anything to do with the sim im trying to load because it did the same thing to me on the oem version of real flight g2

16 bit subsystem error when installing simulater
I'm having a problem installing a simulater that came with a helicopoter I just purchased. It's an error box that says 16 bit error 32 exe or something like that. I had this same problem when installing real flight g2 and was walked through it by a great planes phone rep. I hate to bother them in regards to a sim that isn't theire's. Can anyone help me around this again i was told its a windows service pack 2 issue. It wasnt all that hard of a fix i just dont remember how to do it SOMEONE please help thanks!!

He got my real flight g2 up and running now I need to repeat the process, for this new sim can anyone please be a big help to me ?? Thank you Wade
