No major news outlet has picked up on this yet. But at the end of March a Polish team out in the Western Desert came across a P40 aircraft which had apparently made a forced landing, in which the undercarriage collapsed. The aircraft identity has yet to be confirmed but is believed to be from 260 Squadron RAF and it's location suggests was lost around the time of the battle of El Alamein. Until the planes identity is confirmed, the pilot's fate remains unknown, although an unused parachute pack was found alongside the wreck, very strongly suggesting he at least walked away from the crash. The Egyptian authorities have been informed and the Egyptian Army visited the site and removed the ammunition from the guns. It's hoped the aircraft will be preserved and recovered but nothing concrete has yet been made public. Fingers crossed it finds its way in one piece to the El Alamein museum, near Alexandria!

Tony i also see a Micheal N. on the AMA list for Ft Collins but does not appear to be an RCU member...i lived in Denver/Broomfield awhile back for 16 years and worked short time in your town flying at Chatfield in Littleton area..as for the bidding the times entered seems to be someone beating out a bidder who set a max bid then had to reset another high bid but not sure on that thought but it sure could be a price raising game..and yes the E-bay seller only bought and sold mostly $30 items none RC related except Xbox games - airhogs heli WOW i remember flying my airhogs then was ready for my Waiver test [X(]

This is what some one said about him selling so i believe his name is Timothy- "Timothy is a definite asset to the eBay Auctions and to all sellers THANKS A+++++" i looked on Turbine Waiver holders and there is one in Ft Lupton and is a member on RCU with picture of 2 Jets in his gallery one is KingCat like what i have but not the one in the auction..i won,t give last name or screen name incase i am wrong but Waiver holders can get the same info i got and see he would be honest if it was him...i lived in Co. for 16 years and have a friend 10 miles from Ft Lupton

i have 10 Jets and a Yak 55 Turbo prop and flew it at Sin City Jets and everyone loved it and didn,t mind see,ing it fly a 2nd time that day but my personal thought agree,s it should be allowed but when i fly i stay in Jet pattern and no stunts that could cause a midair Tucano,s seem to scream along in that pattern Jet guys seem to like watching them once then bored after that so i wouldn,t try and fly it all day only as a unique conversation piece..turbo heli,s are somewhat in a tighter stationary position and can see why Jet flyers would be uneasy about flying in same area as Heli P.S. i like the sound of my Turbine and Prop barking at same time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuArFvJDM7c
