RE: Project BF-109 E 4 1/5
Fokke I have no pictures of the 109 and it is sold now. The ESM (KMP Ki84) is around here somewhere, but all photos are here: http://s575.photobucket.com/albums/ss199/viktor2/ESM%20Ki-84/ And the Fliteskin - the quality is really nice and the packaging is top notch. I was lucky to buy some land so I will want to start house construction. And first finish the BT109E So hopefully next winter.

The G160 (or Axi5330/Eflite Power 160 which are identical for the size). I have all 3 and the eflite is not as nice as Axi but the quality is much better than HK. 10S 5.000mAh and you are good to go :)

RE: Fliteskin Spitfire
This is correct More C the battery has more peak consuption it can provide without demaging it. Just 90C seems to me bit too high. It is 450A you are not able to get more than roughly 180A trough 6mm bullet type connectors or 150 trough 5,5mm BTW guys try to get the anti spark connectors from Jeti, they really work :) I made a reduction 6-5,5-5,5-6mm as I do have 6mm on the large packs

RE: Fliteskin Spitfire
The 5345 has maximum of 75A the minimum you need is 20C (with some extra buffer) So 40C are more than adequate 90C are for EDFs Please correct me if I´m wrong

RE: Top Flite Giant FW-190?
ORIGINAL: dasintex
ORIGINAL: Ramstein44 I'm going to see how well she flies before I buy a second. I've got the retracts, both mains and tail from Sierra, Inzpan cockpit kit, Pilot and a flying scale spinner with fan unit for mine (fan should be here soon). With all these parts, buying a second now was out of the question.[&o] However, my build will be very slow. I have so many Dora's. it'll be nice to have another Anton added to the fleet.
Ram; Where are you getting your Scale Flying Spinner and Fan? I plan on getting this plane as well, just building a list of stuff to get ahead of time. Thanks.
I would say SiST?

RE: Hangar 9 30cc P-47 Build Thread
ORIGINAL: glazier808 I love the AXI motors(I have two 2820/10 and 5345-14), but for us here in the USA, that motor is almost twice the cost of the eflight. Casey
Casey not only in US the Axi is much more expensive :( And the eflite seems to be really good value for money.

RE: Hangar 9 30cc P-47 Build Thread
ORIGINAL: lablover Those of you going electric on this baby....How would you think the eflite 160 would compare to a gas setup...I mean, what CC gas would equal the eflite 160? I want to try electric but would hate to get all the goods and go...YUK, it's too slow.  John, you mentioned the Evo 40 did a fair job at pulling her around.  If you had to do it over, what would you go with.  I'm in Michigan so sea level is not an issue.  I'd like to have some spare speed.  I also don't want to have to try to modify the daylights out of the firewall etc to get a motor to fit.  Any other evo as a drop in choice? Thanks
Axi5330 is almost identical So 35-45cc [link]http://modelmotors.cz/index.php?page=61&product=5330&serie=24&line=GOLD[/link]

RE: New Hanger 9 P-47 30cc and electric friendly
The CZE disti (Astramodel) has the price stated as $1000 (that includes 20% VAT) Top Flite ARF is here available for roughly $800 Well shipping of these large ARFs is really expensive. And the duties and VAT is counted from the value + value of the shipping! If HH or Hobbico will make a stock in EU where all dealers can buy from it will bring the costs down to the customer. But there is no will on their side I'm afraid.

RE: ESM FW D-9
ORIGINAL: Oger Lionel  Hello everyone, I was looking around to get the landing gear for my D9 and I ended up with 2 choices. both are elec retracts made for this plane but with some differences. do you think the light version can be enough? Scale version http://shop.lindinger.at/product_info.php?cPath=1730_1732&products_id=91342 Semi scale version http://shop.lindinger.at/product_info.php?cPath=1730_1732&products_id=91346 I noticed that retract system aside, the legs are not the same size neither are the wheels... Any toughts?
The smaller are for the smaller A model. And I have to agree, if your budget can do it, go with Sierra

I hope there will be some crew from Discovery channel, National Geographic etc to film this. Last time I have seen something like this was when they were looking for B-17 ane few P-38s in Greenland iceberk. Unfortunetelly news snow/ice crashed them to pieces.

You can find kits. I´m not aware of any ARF in this size, nor full wood construction. Brian Taylor has plan and parts (supplied by Bob Holman in US) But you have to build it. You are looking either for Mk.I or Mk.II
