RE: -OFFICIAL CASTER RACING K8T TRUGGY THREAD-
You have an extra hole in the front side of your radio tray by your steering servo. I had that added to the design of the new truggy for athe reason. The front of the tray has too much flex with strong servos and will reduce your steering. Put an aluminum post there and drill a hole for it on your chassis. Steering will be way more responsive. Without this mod the truck seems to push one direction and not the other.

RE: Should I get a Losi 8IGHT-T or CEN Matrix TR3???
Wow! If that is the new CEN I think the old one looked way better and was built better. I see they lightened the truck more but it looks alot cheaper. But you never know. Looks arent everything to some people and it might actually be very good. I would get the Losi in a heartbeat over the CEN though. Also your right about customer service. Look CEN up on the better business beaureu. They have like an F rating or something like that.

Opening day at RC Asylum. A new indoor track in Florida (only one) and they had practice this weekend to test out ventilation etc. Got some video for the first time in awhile thanks to my girlfriend kim. RE: 3 years with my MONSOON.
Been doing good. Got alot of different stuff since then. I do still miss my monsoon. To this day it is still the only truggy I have owned that did not just happen to break a part when running it. And I ran it hard.
ORIGINAL: SyCo_VeNoM holy crap the SK-10 has to be the most expensive 1/10th ever (and it beats most real cars too) each piece costs $10,000 :D Screen shot from caster's online store.
That is usually that way on there site when items are not available for purchase yet. Sort of like coming soon lol. From what I have seen pricing has not been set publically yet. Hope its good because I may get one of t these to try out 10th scale.

RE: Pretty cool new 1/10 scale 4wd buggy??
This is the new Caster Racing S10B or Sniper 10 buggy. It is setup for saddle packs in the rear and the pics you see are of the PRO version. Also they should be prototype pics. There is a RTR version that might be available in the US and will come as either a brushless or brushed version. This buggy has been in development for 3 years and has finally now been released. This should be a true contender on the track!

RE: ALPHA RACING TIRES USA OFF ROAD THREAD
ORIGINAL: tommygun32 Do they come balanced as well?
Well I could not say they are physically balanced how some of us do it with clay but once installed on my buggy (both sets I have used) they spin true when you rev it up. No wobbling at all so I guess you can say they are pretty well balanced. Even after numerous runs they are still as smooth.

RE: -OFFICIAL CASTER RACING K8T TRUGGY THREAD-
ORIGINAL: expertbasser I know its NOT part of THIS forum, but next week, I'll be getting my NEXT Caster vehicle: ZX 1.5R! Gotta have it ASAP! Our local track is closed down for repairs until the 1st Saturday in September, so now I have time to get the new buggy, B6 engine, starter box, & MY NEW FUTABA radio!
Let me know how you like the B6. I may get one too. Just so you know Holeshot can get those motors for you. I also ran the truggy this past saturday. Did not qualify too well but still made the A as it was a club race and wanted to save my super softs for the main so I ran a old set of JCons. Ended up last after the first couple turns but worked my way past the field with the K8T and up into second place and without about 5 minutes left I was 2 turns behind the leader when he broke and at the same time my battery came unplugged and my truck took off! Needless to say I did not finish cause of that. LOL! Truck was DIALED in the main! My friend took it for a spin earlier and was putting faster laps times with my K8T then with his Kyosho ST-RR, said he had the same amount of on power steering but the Caster had way more off power and no need for using the brake to get the back around just a little bit like he does. This coming from a guy who podiums and/or wins most of the local races here he attends.

RE: ALPHA RACING TIRES USA OFF ROAD THREAD
I ran the Khi's this past saturday at a local club race. Unofficially I checked out and won the race LOL! Had a transponder problem and was not picking up all my laps which I noticed by the 3rd lap when my times were not being said but I was in the lead my almost half lap. So I was extra careful to check if I got past anytime during the 20 minute main and did not get passed once. So I know I won. Got only 7 laps added back and race director put me 3rd officially on paper[:@] Tires worked awesome. Could put the buggy where I wanted and not break loose at all. So far I have tried the Upsilons and Khi's both in Soft compound and happy as can be. Track surface was dusty/sandy and loamy all night. Track just got back up and running so clay was not the best you could run on lol.

RE: What Tires?
I have been running the new Alpha Racing Tires that just came out. Been awesome for me, even coming from VP PRO tires which I loved before. Both times out with my Alpha Tires have put me in the A-main easily and running at the front of the pack more consistently.
