RE: 2 cycle engines for F3A
ORIGINAL: highfly3D Hi, I would like to know what would be the best 2 cycle engines we can use for a F3A plane apart from a Gas engine as i don't prefer them... I know the OS 160 engine is great but not that good for a FAI class. Also my question is if there be engine say 30 to 32cc 2 cycle glow engine will it be a good option for a F3A high class maneuvers if the engine is light weight enough? Thanks, Harry
in 2 cycle Os 140 re pump and I have one of those for sale with pipe and header on 4 cycle Ys is the best with the Os you can build a plane in the 9 to 10 pound range

Really don't want to fool with things this close to the contest.
What radio you used? Also if you turnd off your tx the esc shuts off the motor? On fail safe is you turn off the tx the esc shuts off the motor but thats something you have to set on failsafe
