RE: NITROMODELS REPLACEMENT PARTS REQUEST_Post Here
I just got My dynam A-10 and the speed controllers are DOA order number 1714352. What can you do for me do I need to send the plane back or can you just send me some replacement speed controllers? Also the servo plug on the wings is too short to work with to plug into the Rx. Please let me know what you can do for me thanks Sean

RE: Fed Up with the NitroPlanes Haters!
I have had some issues with the planes I've ordered, but not once has John not been very willing and able to help out! The most recent plane piper cub for $48 on black friday. I received a similar plane to the one I ordered and I now have to mod it to work as electric (cut of the prebuilt wood motor mount) The one I ordered was not suppose to have that but if I had wanted to make it gas it would have been great. The color scheme was opposite of the pictured, but other than that this plane is better quality than I could buy anywhere else! I have not flown it yet but it will fly great I'm sure. I have even considered buying several of these ARF planes and making them RTF and selling them, comparing these to the prices at my local hobby shop I could make a lot of money of these. Thanks NITROPLANES and John for all your great service Sean

RE: NITROMODELS REPLACEMENT PARTS REQUEST_Post Here
Im looking for a hardware set for the exceed brushless 400 920kv. I need a new spinner and prop shaft. Also if you have the same hardware set for the fms brushless i'll take a set for that too. The fms has only 3 screws for the prop shaft mount unlike the exceed that has 4. Please let me know I need both sets thanks.

exceed brushless wires
Hey Just a bit of feedback on the exceed brushless motors. I got the exceed 400 (920kv) motor the motor has great power for my cub. The problem with this motor is the wires are connected to the connectors by barely anything. You have to be VERY careful when you are unpluging it from the esc. I was pulling on the connecters and the wires just came off. It is repairable i think but, I thought i'd warn others of this issue so you don't rip the wires out. Also if anyone knows where I can get new prop mounting hardware for this motor I am in need thanks

just wondering if you can get a fuse for this f-16 http://www.nitroplanes.com/f16-rtf-edf-70mm-jet.html and how much it will cost? I couldn't find a spare parts page for this plane. Thanks Sean

RE: Exceed 400 motor issue
thanks. I wanted to have lots of power the main reason i upgraded is because the power was so much on the weak side of things being stock. I don't want to have any stalling issues. thanks for the info its been a great help!!!

RE: Exceed 400 motor issue
thanks for the PM it works not really sure what the programing did but hooking it up to the elevator channel let it program it works now and it is FAST!!!! The motor is the alpha exceed 400 920kv and exceed 30amp esc prop is 10 x 4.7. I better not use full throttle this thin will move. Its all in the exceed j3 cub. Any info on the program stuff would be helpful too thanks OP!!!!!!!

Exceed 400 motor issue
I put a exceed brushless 400 (920kv) and 30 amp esc in my j3 cub. It is all mounted and wired, but when I turn the radio on with the throttle down and put the battery in the plane the motor makes a short musical type tone and then goes beep beep beep beep on and on the motor twitches as if it wants to turn but does not. I have tried different batteries all within the specs in the manuel. Am i missing something? What is going on here?

Brushless motor parts
I got the exceed 400 920kv motor. It came with an extra shaft and a collar with an allen screw in it. It fits on the shaft but the spinner and prop go on the oppisite side of the shaft so why does the shaft poke out so far and whats the collar for?

RE: brushless upgrade question
Thanks, Yeah from my recent research I seem to get the same answer, (get a meter) so I think thats what ill do. I was told by a guy at my local hobby shop to get a 450 870kv for the cub and he said that thinking I had a bigger cub than I do The Exceed j3 cub is a 1/5 smaller than the one he thought i had. When I told him how big mine was compared to that he said the 450 might be too much for it. So on nitroplanes i looked at motors and the 400 920kv was the next closest one, the others were sold out. I figured that it was worth a try being so cheap with great reviews. I also went with the 30amp esc. If this wont work on this plane I might just try and build a plane with all my spare parts laying around.

brushless upgrade question
I have a Exceed j3 cub. I want to upgrade it to brushless so i can fly it with out using full throttle for the entire flight and i want it to have power enough power to do whatever i want. This is what I'm thinking of putting in it from an exceed Alpha 400 (920kv) brushless motor, 30A Electronic Brushless ESC Speed Controller [Volcano Series],Capacity:1750mAh Constant discharge: 20C Burst rate: 30C (15sec) Configuration : 3S 11.1v Pack size: 93x33x22mm Weight : 155g lipo battery. I know I will have to modify the plane to make the motor and battery to fit, but will the motor esc and battery configuration go together well? What prop should I go with for this set up? Let me know I want to get this stuff on order asap.

RE: F-18 or f-35????
I'm not trying to be a pain I know I can fly these. I have flown my friends f-22 take off and pattern and land granted it was on the hairy side but i did just fine. I also fly helicopters. I know the challenges that the EDF's will give me might be tough but not impossible. I was just courious about my original question which never said anything about not knowing how to fly an edf. My original question still has not been answered. I appreciate all the advice given thats why i am a member of RCuniverse. Op is on a lot and has good advise to everyone. Thanks anyway.

RE: F-18 or f-35????
I don't understand why this is such a hard question? I know how to fly if I didn't i would have said so. I am very comfortable flying. You say to ease in to EDF how do i do that if you keep telling me not to get one? I am sooooo bored with my nitro cessna I have had it for 10 years it is very easy to fly and I think i am ready to get an EDF How else will I learn to fly an EDF if everybody says not to get one? I was only asking which plane was better and more fun. What the difference was in flight characteristics between the two.

I flew my friends exceed f-22 briefly, but this would be my first like this of my own. I have had an overpowered nitro cessna for years now. I'm just ready to switch to electric.

Anyone know what plane is better. The 2.4 arttech f-18 or the 2.4 exceed f-35. I want one that is not too hard to control but the most fun. Any help?

Exceed J3 cub
This plane is great, fast shipping from nitroplanes too!! Out of the box put it together in 15min cycled the battery and then flew it. It is a bit hard to control on a ground take off, it is much easier to just hand launch. Let it get some speed and then fly away!!!! I had a few "hard" landings and it still is good as new. I would like to upgrade the motor and prop for faster flight. Any ideas to really beef this plane up? What motor, esc, battery, prop should I upgrade to?

RE: VIBRATION on A-10 Motor
I have the same plane and mine vibrate very bad also. I am having lots of issues with mine had it just over a month and am yet to get it off the ground. I got a lipo for it and it seems to have much better power but still cant get it off the ground just does a wheelie and tries to lift off but no luck, my lipo did get very very hot and swelled up. That was the first attempt with the new lipo. My second attempt the motors are making an odd noise and seem to have much less power, Im wondering if the new lipo has ruined them or the speed controller? Good luck with yours let me know if you have better luck. If I could, i'd send mine back for a credit and get the f-16 hand launch for $139.99. You wonder why Nightflyyer has not done a video review of the a-10 its probably cause it just won't fly out of the box unless you buy several upgrades for it. It looks Great sitting in my house tho.

RE: GuanLi A-10 BIG ISSUES
Thanks I did PM nitroplanes about the battery before posting this entire post and he just got back to me. He has sent out a new 1100 lipo and said i just might have to change the adapter. Now will I have to buy a charger or can i use the one that i got with the plane and just get the adapter you told me of? Not sure about the transmitter yet I'm going to try and use the new battery and see if that is the cause of the range issue. I have an extra transmitter and receiver from my blade cp pro heli so i might try and get that to work with this plane.

RE: GuanLi A-10 BIG ISSUES
Thanks for your response. As for the gear it is actually weak as I taxi it i can see it lean. It seems to be in the gear mount also maybe a poor glue job from the factory. I have followed the battery cycle procedure but with no luck and if it does work i will have to take off on an actual runway, go straight and then lad before the end of the runway or the battery will die if i try to fly a pattern to land. What battery should i get and what flight time can i expect out of the one you recommend? For the transmitter i did string the wire on the outside of the plane in a s pattern to the tail the wire never crosses itself or touches. Do I have a bad receiver?

GuanLi A-10 BIG ISSUES
So i know now why this plane was so cheap and people have only posted neg feedback about the A-10. Its just a model it won't fly as it is, sold as a 100% RTF. I have had this plane for a month now and nothing on this plane is right it has sat in the spare room cause I'm so frustrated. It can't taxi in a straight line because the gear is so weak, can't take off unless you have a very strong head wind and then you still better have a long runway. As soon as the gust of wind is gone it drops out of the sky. I have had this plane only about 2 feet off the ground. I wouldn't want to get it any higher because the battery is such a pile not to mention the wires on the battery were showing through the insulation like it had been pinched or something. After fixing the wires I cycled the battery 4 times and it still won't last, its max run time is 2 min at 80% power. The seam in the fuse is weak also and I fear it would split in two during flight. The right fan came with a bent shaft so the fan wobbles. The transmitter has about a 150 foot range on it till the servos start going crazy on their own. Other than looking cool this plane is not worth it. I am very disappointed. I hope that nitroplanes will help me out here I will pay to ship this plane back for a refund or credit towards another purchase of a planes that has a good reputation. wake_133@yahoo.com

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
My 3 in 1 unit has taken a poop on me i think and my servos keep destroying their gears . When I raise collective the rpm changes but the pitch angle does not. I have changed the servos and have had no luck fixing the problem. The helicopter would hover then drop a few feet like a rock then resume a hover. This is my first heli and I do know how to fly it now but can't figure out what is wrong. Please help if its the 3in1 Please let me know how much you would like for yours I would buy new but these prices are killing me. wake_133@yahoo.com Thanks sean
