RE: Gaining experience on big aircraft
I am starting on this kit too. I have had the kit for several years and have built many fiberglass and foam kits. Are there any changes or updates to the kit that have been made recently?

RE: Lanier RC husky106
I had one and it is a great flyer. There are several more in my area. Mine had a Zenoah G-45 with a 20x10 prop. It also makes a great floatplane. The instructions can be downloaded from Great Planes Model Dist.

RE: What do you expect from a warbirds event
I'm glad that someone brought this subject up. I was the CD of our local warbird event last month. I learned some things that will be implemented next time. I am always looking for ways to improve an event whether it is warbird, 3d or fun-fly. It seems everyone likes raffles, prizes etc. Clubs put these events on to make money and new friends. Spectators are a must, we usually have a static display at the local Wal-Mart to show our planes, we have gotten great results from these shows. I do have one dilemma and it involves prop-driven jets (ex. Hanger 9 F-22). Should these be allowed at a warbird event?

RE: Has anyone flown the JL CT114 Tutor??
I am in the process of assembling one now and have a couple of quick questions. 1. What servos are you using on the elevators? 2. How do the servo covers fit on your Tudors? Mine are too thick and will need to be sanded down and the covers for the wing are solid white instead of red/white.

RE: Removing dried CA from monokote?
I use Zap Debonder. It is rather thick, so apply it and let it sit for a while then wipe it off. It works although it may take several applications. Will not harm the monokote.

RE: Jetlegend CT-114
Just got my JL CT-114, opened the box and did an initial inspection. This is one good looking plane. Everything is well packed. the finish is outstanding and everything seemed to be in there. Can't wait to get started. Thanks for the great service to Dante and Monica at Camlex.

Giant Scale Twins AeroCommander
Is anyone out there building this plane, and if so have you gotten any retracts for it? I have had my kit since early June and ordered my retracts then. I still haven't received anything but excuses. Every time I call its the same thing "another week or so-still waiting on a few more parts". Oh yes, in case you don't know, I'm dealing with Robart. Is there anyone else that makes gear for this plane?

RE: ROBART Staggerwing retracts
I know the feeling, I've had a set of Giant Scale Twin Aerocommander Gear on B/O since June 11, 2007. Every time I call they say another week or so. This is really getting ridiculous.
