RE: Throttle servo too close to ignition?
Here you can see where I mounted the two servos, one for throttle and one for choke. On the right side of the engine block is the Ign and the other side is the Ign battery. Never any problems on 2.4 Just for reference the Ign pack is about 4 to 5 inchs away from the servos.

RE: Meister Japanese Zero build thread
Hey Gary Just a heads up, I have spoken to Dean And Pat at Laser Cut and it looks like the redrawing of the wing is just about completed. We should have it before long. I've been bugging Dean to get a move on but he is at the mercy of the Laser cut so to speak. The delay has kind of worked in my favor. My wife and I decided to move all the propeller manufacturing and Aircraft building out of the house. We were running out of room with both endevors going at the same time. I found a shop (650sq ft) about 10 minutes from my house that worked out great. So right now I have all kinds of room to build. Now I just need some wood.
ORIGINAL: luckyb Gary, I'm just curious. Is this going to be a build for Expert or team? and if it is , how are you going to deal with the flat bottom wing, a Meister trait that I love but keeps them away from this type of competition. Just askin'..............Doug (unless the Zero doesn't have it)
Hey Doug I'm no expert by any means on this. but I think if the airfoil was was not highlighted in the Doc's it would not be an issue.

Hey Gary I have been trying to locate a source for 1/4 scale pilots for a few days now without much luck. I tried Best pilots, premier pilots and the one in Australia. All have been a no joy. I have one more email out to Acel pilots in Germany. This is not looking good. Bummer.

Hey Gary I may have found the one for me. Its looks like from the photo that the cowl is possibly white with a black cowl flaps. The rest looks to be natural metal. Right up my alley, so to speak.
