RE: looking at this crawler what do you think
honestly you guys where do think the other brands are made? look at the box. im almost positive none of them are made in the usa. also it is a crawler it goes slow, you are not going to be breaking parts unless you are dropping it 10ft which i bet anything if a name brand landed that way it would break also. i will put some money on it right now. you guys dont know what you are talking about, you know word of mouth and what you have read, i think you need to try before you talk, i will also bet none of you have even see this redcat. anyways not trying to cause trouble. all i am saying is not everyone has money for these expensive toys. i have exceed and i have a brand off ebay that probably doesnt exist anymore, i also have axial, they are all the same, all upgradable. do what you want, spend that money.

RE: looking at this crawler what do you think
it is cheap cause there is no demand for it, people have put such a negative vibe towards off brand stuff. i have a axial crawler and a exceed razor 1/8 buggy and honestly between the 2 they both have plastic all over the place and i dont see what the big difference between quality. its like going to walmart and buying jeans or going to jc pennies and getting there jeans you are just buying a name, all the parts come from china anyways. its more about how much can you spend without breaking the bank.

RE: ESC or RX or Transmitter Bugs?
probably cause your antenna is broke. AM radios dont go all that far, add a broken antenna to it and it will be worse. how far away are you when it messes up?

Looks cool. You will only be able to get parts on line, thats the only bad part to those. There are some hobby shops that carry parts but none around me. I have a exceed nitro and they just ignore me when i come in there, bad buisness if you ask me.

RE: **OFFICIAL** 1/8 buggy thread
i think thats the problem i have to many toys. had a 4 wheeler, still have a motorcycle. i just cant stay way from the R/C's though i think that is my true hobby even though i have no money for it. dont know if you saw my other post or not but i traded my 4 wheeler for some stuff some of that stuff was a axial crawler that i am thinking about making into a scale model of a old chevy pick up or something. that video up there is pretty sweet, got a feild back behind my house with some 4 wheeler trails that i might have to take my buggy up to.

RE: Axial Crawler
It has a rooster ESC and traxxas 3 channel set up and he gave me 2 batteries, one is a duratrax 1500 and the other is a venom 1700 or 1800 i dont remember they are just nicd batteries. i was looking at the lipo packs but they are expensive. I am planning on adding another servo to the rear and making it 4 wheel steering. I have a couple RC parts cars that have some servos on there all i need is the links. Also i have seen that someone here put the steering links on the inside of the axel and turned the servo around. is there any kinks in this setup or does something else need to be changed for it to work?
