RE: RC-12 guardrail (beech king air 200) research
I have a model of the B200, but would also like to model the RC-12. But nowadays I only do modeling using a 3D scan of the actual aircraft. I do have 3-view of the B-200 - email me. Wendell

RE: 3d Laser Scanning
3d scanning of actual aircraft is the way to go.

RE: Building a Boeing 737-600
I received many drawings from Boeing a few years ago when I was about to create 3D models of all their aircracft. The drawings have loft lines too. Not sure if the 600 was in the package - but if your still interested, email me and i will check. However, now i laser scan actual aircraft rather than go by 3-views. Wendell

RE: spruce goose...
Would a 3d scan of the entire aircraft help in your construction efforts? Wendell

RE: Building from 3 views
I have built about 35 aircraft 3D models using 3-views. Using Form-Z. The process is easy once you know how but the learning curve and problems that come can set you back some. Use the 3-views as underlays on the CAD program you use. Then trace over the sections. Only buy 3-views that have many cross-sections. For accuracy - 3d laser scanning of actual aircraft is the way to go and thats what i do now. Wendell

RE: Scratch Building, Aircraft Design, 3D/CAD FAQ
I have a 3D model of the 300 built using Form-Z. Not totally accurate as it is also based on 3-views. However I can scan actual aircraft and you would have to email me concerning solutions. Wendell

RE: L-159
Hi I have the equipment to laser scan the actual aircraft. If interested in options/solutions, email me. We did a Grumman Goose a few years ago. Wendell
