RE: Mystic build
The rudder has fake rams which I had to connected Stainless steel cable to(wire trace line that you would use for fishing) which is connected to the servo. I used alaminium rod and connected the wire to it as the rod you get with the rudder is stainless and its not pre drilled. Here are a few pics, sorry for the clarity.

RE: Mystic build
Hi, Its been awhile since the last post on this thread. I finally got my warranty replacement esc so know im waiting on my batteries to arrive from thunderpower. Its only been like 2/1/2 months so hopefully they will have them in stock soon. I had 2 10s lipos but one swell up a little so they are sending me a replacement under warranty. I am getting 4 5s 5000 30c batteries ( 2 are replacements for the one 10s that swelled). Anyway here are a few pics of the boat with decals on it.

RE: WHY DOES MY PROP ALWAYS SNAP
are you talking about the flex cable or the prop it self. If its the flex cable make sure that its not binding in the stuffing tube and spins freely. Keep it well greased. I grease mine before I take it out on every run. Also I would buy a new flex cable from Offshore electrics http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ose-svcable. They seem to be a lot better than the ones you get from Aqucraft. Peter

RE: MHZ Hull and Parts...
Spoken to the manufacturer and like I said the US are still the cheapest. You might say that Im worried about $600, but $600 is $600. Better in my pocket than someone else.

RE: MHZ Hull and Parts...
MHZusa have them for $4495 each and Jetcat USA was approx $300 dollars dearer. When looking in europe and converting our dollar ($ozzy) to euro its dearer again. The cheapest I have found to be is the USA.

RE: MHZ Hull and Parts...
Im looking at getting 2 turbines and the USA dealer seems to be the cheapest around. $300 dollars a turbine cheaper than Jetcat USA. I emailed the Australian distributor for jetcat an he wanted $7000 a turbine, know thats an increase. Its cheaper for me to buy the turbines from the USA than to buy the turbines from europe. Hmmmmm I might speak to George and see how much he can get them for.

HELP!!! with twin tunning setup
Hi Guys, Im kinda frustrated at the moment with a twin set up that I have. I have a tuning issue. Both motors have a WT257 carbs on them. One of motor runs fine, when you rev it, it revs nice a clean and comes back to idle. The other one well, I adjust the carb so it idles clean and you can let it sit there idling for a minute or two, then she decides to rev for no reason. other times she will idle ok, hit the throttle and she will rev ok and come back to idle. Thinking Its all good then bang she will rev up for no apparent reason. I dont think there is an air leak as if there was she wouldnt idle right in the firs place. Hope some one can help!!!!!!!!! Peter

RE: opinions on motors and esc
I have a mystic cat that is approx 1160mm which will be running on 2 x neu 1912, 2 x Castle HV120 and 2x 10s 5000mah lipos. Im just waiting on one of my esc as it fried itself when it was hooked up to the battery for the first time. The large Mystic cat which is approx 1860 long (I think from memory) will be twin turbine, but that will be in another thread. Heres a few pics of the mystic (electric)

RE: Spain - Catamaran / Cats
The pics of the large cats are HPR cats which are 2.33mtr long. They are very large cats. The person who makes them is located in Switzerland. His site is www.swissmodelpowerboatteam.ch You can buy directly from him. http://www.swissmodelpowerboatteam.ch/smbpt/administration/pImages/%7B7568F13C-1D7E-4E89-88D4-4AB5F0D89362%7D_the%20kit.JPG

opinions on motors and esc
Hi, I have another cat that is twin drive and am looking for opinions on what motors and esc to run in her. I want it to be on the cheap. The boat has to be twin as ive taken out the neu motors and castle esc that used to be in her and now there in my other boat. I will be running each motor on 5s lipo packs. Also where would the best place be to purchase them from? Has to be an online shop. Im not trying to break any speed records with this build. I just want it to be a fun boat that goes good. Thanks Peter

Im not sure what to use to get the desired shape of the scoop so I can glass over it. What are your thoughts? Thanks Peter

RE: good boat for 5 year old
Thanks for the replies guys, I think a self righting boat would be a really good thing. He could use it when its a little choppy and I dont have to worry about him flipping the boat. I was looking at the aquacraft reef racer 2 from tower hobbies, which seems to be pretty good. Not sure where you would purchase a zig zag so if anyone knows, could you please let me know. The mhz echo would be a great boat but, im really after a RTR boat. I will show him a pic of the turbo vee as well and see what he likes the most. I did show him a clip of a Zig Zag and a Reef Racer and he liked it because of the way there self righting. Like my wife said you buying a boat for him and not me, so it has to be something that he can launch on his own with out my help. Cheers Peter
