RE: Announcement: Redcat X-SC
Sorry damn Gopro mount couldn't hack it. Still think the crater bro's made is still there. 20 pounds of RC makes a noise when it hits nose first that will never be forgotting.

RE: Announcement: Redcat X-SC
Well let's start this off by saying I own one of these and also my Lil brother. We both got them the same time from Ramtech. I am not choosing sides or am I saying these are as good as model "X". All am saying is these are not for the "I don't know how to work on my own stuff so I listen to everyone esle" type of person. These are made for poeple like me "Go outside and throw these guys down crank them up and mash the skinny pedal and bash the hell out of them" type. Are they broke right now. Yes both are. Mined has the center of the wheels melted out(my fault. 45 minutes of donuts on concrete) brothers pipe coupling melted, chassis treaked from falling back to earth from reentry(damn thing was prolly 50 feet up). Thinking about buying two more and use these as spare parts. Like grandpa use to say "they are what they anit" they are not top of the line rc 1/5 scales. They are some of the most fun I have ever had. And they will run again and they will break again.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread
Just watched the video. Looks plenty hopped up out the box. I like the four piece body. My redcat is looking old already still I would be scared to beat on a 1600 dollar machine like I do my 600 buck redcat.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread
All I can say is there is most likely some guy at HPI headquarters saying "well look at that I told u so". If the 5ive is not a flop than the hpi boys have some catching up to do cause that thing looks (and I stress LOOKS) good. I like the idea of the center diff and being able to have brake bais also.

1/5 scale racing

RE: Redcat XSC
Rob, done running them today. It's freaking to HOT LOL. Thanks for the great service and the follow ups. You will be mentioned to anyone wanting to know where to go to get into the 1/5 cars. Thanks again. 46U, going to swap them when they get torn down for lock tight, diff fluid, and shock oil change. Will keep them for spares to take to the track thou as they have been fine so far. Nothing handles like 1/5 scale cars think it's the weight. They just flat track like a late model dirt car, drifting around the corners and they seem to handle off tje jumps good to very perdicable in the air also because of all four wheels braking. Awesome trucks.

RE: Redcat XSC
Got three tanks thru mine and four thru my brothers starting to feel the motors loosing up and man are these things fun. I had a fg leopard years ago and the four wheel drive is much easier to control. The steering servo did burn up on my brothers thou I think it might have been our fault as the radio has a d/r,endpoint feature that should be turn down from the full setting as the car runs out of steering way before the servo reaches full throw so I think we burn it up. The servo on mine has no problems as I turn the rate down as I was going over the truck before we ran them the first time and missed it on his. Both are running the rtr gas/brake servo. Both are getting torn down as I think the break in is done so we can lock tight everything and get ready for the motocross track.

Redcat XB need advice on upgrades
Have decide that this will be my second 1/5 scale Rc car. I had a FG Leopard awhile back and I loved it but money is tighter now and the price of this car is part of the reason I am picking it over some. Is there anything that should be addressed out of the gate before I run it. Thanks.

RE: 50cc Sukhette Build Thread, now in progress!!
messed up the wheel pants and the muffler on the 53 today the engine died(it will do that when your big a__ thumb pulls back the trottle trim when you pull the stick back to idle) had to land in the tall grass. Hey Tom how much for a muffler and pants..

well i am by no means a pro builder but i had the gear pull out of my v1 extra and i repair it my self just take your time and be careful not to make it to strong better it pull out again then to destroy the plane the next timel. on the nylon bolts a good idea on 40 size planes but maybe not on a 50cc gasser just my opinion NOW GET IN THE SHOP AND FIX THAT THING!!!

RE: 50cc Sukhette Build Thread, now in progress!!
two more. It has the 3MM 53 with muffler and hitec 5645's all the way around with a 5955 on the rudder. Got it with the hardware kit and decal set from tom, i got a local decal shop to make the wings and the rest of the graphics came from badbradgraphics. Its been slow going but I cant wait to get done.
