Need some Lipo advice
I want to run a Lipo battery in my clodbuster. I'm running a Novak Super Duty XR with two 12t double motors. I know I need the Novak Smart Stop Lipo cut off module. But what I don't know is what would be the best battery. I do a lot of racing so speed would be better. I 'm thinking Of a 4s lipo but I don't know what C or mAh would be best. Any advice would be great thanks.

RE: Stampede wheelie bar
That's not going to work with a Nitro Stampede. That set-up will only work with a electric Stampede, Rustler, or Bandit. Not to mention your going to spend $21.25 for something that cost $12.99 at Tower Hobbies http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXRNP7&P=ML I would do a little more research first IMO.

Pretty sure you will need a releasing agent between your CF and Alloy. Roughly about 8 coats or they will stick together.

RE: Past and present integy owners and shock masters help me out with my t-maxx 3.3
I run these shock on my T-maxx, Clod, Stampede, Rustler, Almost everything I have. I like the looks but that's about it. As far as bashing I have never had any real problems. As far as leaking I stopped using oil so no problems. The Shock rods bend and some times break, but as far as the shock bodies I've never damaged one. Different things happen to different people.

RE: so what are those blue things?
Yes that is an engine mount. Don't worry you won't get it with the new engine you have to pay extra to get it.

RE: Fail safe problems
OK you all are right I did a newb mistake.(Not enough info) I was running 4 Energizer maxx AA with one tower hobbies standard servo and one high torque servo. Ran one set of questionable batteries and one fresh set. Also happen to have two of these fail safe and both did the same thing. The only lights that came on where normal. Green when it was running and red when in lock out.

Fail safe problems
Ok I'm running a Duratrax fail safe in a buggy. Now after 5min of running the fail safe trips my servo and will not reset. I can still steer but the throttle servo will not move until the car is shut off and turned back on. At first I thought it was the batteries but I replaced them with fresh and it still happens. Any thoughts

RE: Nitro battery question
In an electric RC the ESC is powered by one or more 7.2v batteries. If I understand what you guys are saying then the ESC is only putting 6v to the receiver and no more? I thought the ESC gave all the voltage to the receiver and the receiver knocked it down to 6v for the servos.

Nitro battery question
OK if anyone has any intel to this question I would love some. In a Nitro RC most people would run 4 "AA" batteries to the receiver giving 4.8v. Now a receiver will put out a max of 6v. So why not use a standard 9v battery.

RE: Gotta love the look of new RC
Actually since the 2.5 and the 3.3 are basically the same size case wise. The .15 to 2.5 upgrade kit from Traxxas will let you drop in your 3.3 with no problems. I just think the stampede exhaust is better looking. I guess I will have to try it out. Thanks
