RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*
I got a Pro-line Cavalieri Edition body on mine and it is already holding up better than the stock. I think any aftermarket body should hold up better than the stock.

Definitely am going to have to get that chassis with the radio tray and upper plate. I wonder how much it is. Probably can't say over public forums or whatever.

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*
The Losi throttle return spring isn't really a mod. I just listed it because I was saying everything I had done to my truck. It is just a little bit bigger of a spring with a bigger eyelet. As far as the turnbuckle mod, I would get some Traxxas shock ends (I used AE because I had them), and two screws that are about or just longer than 1/2 inch. Cut the head off of the screws with a dremel, and screw the captured ends on there. I am using the stock 4 screws to hold the turnbuckles in place, but you should probably use longer ones to make up for how high up they stick out. I'll look for some part numbers for you. Also, don't give me credit for coming up with this myself. Me and the "fast guy" at the track were talking about my truck, and how AE should have made that front section stronger. He said that he made turnbuckles to go there, so I did it to mine too. Oh yeah, remember to put washers underneath the screws that hold the turnbuckles on, just to be safe. TRA2742 Traxxas Rodend/Ball (T-Maxx) or TRA2742X Traxxas Short Rod Ends With Hollow Balls (6) and TRA2580 Traxxas Screws, 3x20mm button-head machine (hex drive) (6) or TRA2581 Traxxas Screws, 3x25mm button-head machine (hex drive) (6) On the screws I was just guessing at length, as I just grabbed a couple out of my parts container to use. My CRT .5's wing is exactly 5.5 or 5 1/2 inches long which is like 14 cm.

Just got a .5. I put full size servos in it after a mini went out. I hope to get the BCE chassis soon for it. Here are some pictures.

Here are a couple of pictures of the turnbuckle mod I did, just to try and strengthen up the front sub chassis and top plate. I did it awhile ago, I've just been too lazy to take the pictures, put them on my computer, and then post. I haven't raced it in two weeks, so I'm re-excited to race with it again, gas truck is my favorite class. I just have to get the brakes set up right. Also, here is a picture my GT2 next to my new CRT .5.

I would ask on RC Tech if you haven't already. It is more racer oriented, and he usually paints bodies for racers.

I race with the Dynamite Platinum .12 every week. From personal experience, I have raced both the Dynamite Platinum, the O.S. .12 TG, the O.S. .12 TZ, O.S. .15 CV, and the O.S. .15 CVR. The Dynamite Patinum has more power than the TG. The TZ on the other hand, has way too much for two wheel drive. The Dynamite is what I would go with.

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*
Long time no post. I don't really have much to say, which is probably why I haven't posted. Just an update on my truck. I am now running the Dynamite Platinum .12. It is a good motor that I have been racing with for a while now. I put beefier captured ends on all of my rear turnbuckles. I put a Losi throttle return spring and eyelet on my truck. I still want to get a Smoothy pipe for my truck and I need a new body. I have been experimenting with drag break and have not been finding anything I like. It just seems like I can't dive into the corners likethe fast guy at the track. I am, not to toot my own horn, but, the secong fastest guy in the class. Me and the best guy have gotten to be pretty good pals and he always groans when he sees me wreck, because he wants competition. My truck is pretty good, but I want better steering. It is probably actually perfect how it is, but I can't leave things alone, so anyone got any tips on getting good steering out of their truck? I am also thinking about putting little tierods inbetween the edges of the top plate and radio tray to make the area more durable on nose down landings. What do you guys think? This has pretty much been a ramble post, so ignore me if I get too annoying.

RE: Are Stadium Trucks Good?
Stadium trucks are my favorite, so of course I would say they are worth the money. I have raced 1/8 buggy and stadium trucks and I prefer the latter. What I have never raced is truggy, but I expect it is basically like buggy. I am not an aggresive enough driver for 1/8.

It is designed for two mini servos. You have to do some custom work to put in a full size.

Besides, in a two wheel drive you do not need that much power anyway. You spend more time spinning out than anything with a bigger motor.

I finally caught up to him, and on the last lap, on the second to last corner, he got hung up on a pipe and I passed him. I beat him by four tenths of a second! Best race of my life.
