RE: Opensource CDI ignition
I don't know why but I've problems running the map423 calculation sheet. The addins are installed but it's not working anyway. Can someone do this work for me[8|]before I'm going crazy? Or give me hints to get this sheet running... My ignition is built for the Zenoah G260 PUM. As described in the manual idle rpm is 3000rpm advance timing is 30°/7000rpm What advance timing values are you people using? I made some considerations about optimizing output of my G260PUM. What do you think? -To start engine easily, advance timing at 0-2000 rpm should be 0°or even after TDC. -max. rpm should be at 20.000rpm (=no rpm limiter) Thanks for your replies[;)]

RE: 1/6th scale hydro plans
Does anyone have any detailed pictures of a '89 Ms. Circus Circus? Sponsons, Rear end, etc.? I didn't find anything on the web for the '89 version...

RE: 1/6th scale hydro plans
I don't think that helps too much( well, I'm in Germany) but I paid 20.-€ for all 3 plans.

RE: 1/6th scale hydro plans
1/6 is just the right size for a G231. My G260PUM fits right under the cowl(I hope). 5mm space to the top

RE: 1/6th scale hydro plans
The newton plans are all 1/8. Putting a G231 into it is a bit tricky...[8|] and doesn't look very nice[:'(]

RE: 1/6th scale hydro plans
I just started building a 1/6 '89 Ms Circus Circus from the Newton plans. Engine is a modified G260 PUM. (5.5HP/22.000 rpm) Is anything special to keep attention to for the '89 Ms Circus Circus? Can anyone of you send me some detailed pictures of the internals of your boat? What AM hardware are you using? What do you recommend for a prop? I'd like to use a 3 bladed one[:)] A lot of questions I know but this is the first Hydroplane for me. And it seems that germany is more in Monos or Cats...

RE: Hey Mike. . Whats the word on 5995's???
But why? The robot 5995 are allowed up to 8.4V, so 7.4 should be safe enough, or? Tell me the secret A collegue of mine is testing one (1!)robot in his 1:5 car for about 2 months now for steering. And he's quite satisfied. no breakdowns, no lack of power. Seems to be a really great product.[8D] How much will they finally cost?

Hi Mike, is there anything new about the 5995TG? when are the RC-versions shipped? Does the RC-version still handle the 7.4V LiPo? Thanx

RE: Hey Mike. . Whats the word on 5995's???
Can you tell something about the 1:5 large scale car abilities? As you might know the 5945 and 5735 have had great problems "surviving" our cars. Is the 5995 (5955) able to act as steering servos under heavy racing conditions without biting the dust after a couple of minutes[;)]?
