RE: NITROMODELS REPLACEMENT PARTS REQUEST_Post Here
Hi All, One thing I've found is that NitroModles isn't watching this forum. They put up they're own board, and are now ignoring all others. I wish they had stayed on this forum, but they didn't. Try looking at the www.rcdiscuss.com site, and at least they respond there. [:o]

RE: NITROMODELS REPLACEMENT PARTS REQUEST_Post Here
I know the other guy said to stay away from 4 channel, I don't know that I agree with that. For learning, a top wing that rights itself takes one of the confusing factors out, with ailerons you will loose a lot of the self - righting characteristics that you want on a early trainer. Then after a few planes, switch to ailerons. That way you get the feel a bit more before you start flying a plane that's easier to tip-stall and loose orientation with. That was why my flying friends recommended I start with a elevator/rudder plane, and hold off on the 4 channel aileron planes until I had some stick time. It sounds like he might have had a plane already, if so and he's able to fly it reasonably well, then consider the 4 ch. plane.

Hello NitroModels Do you have a estimate when Item#: 93A40-13-LandingGearSet will be in? I just got the Flying Tiger kit, and I want to put the retracts in. Note that I'm a bit disappointed that you advertise that the kit has the retracts, and down below you point out it doesn't have them. You should go to Airfield and get them to include them! Other then that, the plane looks great so far (I haven't taken everything out and inspected it yet though) Thanks!

RE: Lancair 360 MK2
Hi All, I got this plane (stars and stripes version) last summer, and am getting ready to build it. I'm going electric, and have a couple of questions. First, has anyone worked on setting up the canopy so it can be removed easily? It looks like this is the way to go for dealing with the batteries. I was planning on building a frame, and installing a hatch pin to lock it in place. But I'm open to suggestions. I saw someone mention that the forward landing gear was a bit weak. What gear did you use to replace it (Yea, I know, a redundant question)? I'm open for any other suggestions anyone may have. Thx, Rich [:D]
