RE: Chris Craft 17' Cavalier
No, but will check it out. [quote]ORIGINAL: Tommygun Man that is one good looking boat. I've always loved the old mahogany runabouts. Every now and then I see them on the Delaware River and they really turn heads. Thats cool it has the 289 instead of the Greymarine six alot of them came with; I bet it really sounds good too. Lets see some more pics! Hey Wrecks, are you on speedwake.com

RE: Budget increase
She got a new dirt bike, Honda CR 85, so she is letting me upgrade. Hobbies keep me in the garage, and not complaining about watching re-runs of CSI. [:D]

Budget increase
Hello, I was talking to the budget comity (wife) last night, and she approved $1000 to go for upgrades. I have a fg stadium truck, and run it mostly on a pit bike track that we built. I am just looking for some input on what upgrades each of you would do to be set up for general bashing. I am new to the large scale gassers, and reliability is key for me. thanks, Rex

RE: Chris Craft 17' Cavalier
Beautiful!!! Do you have any before pics? I am starting a resto project on my 1983 Eliminator Daytona with a kevlar hull, but I am sure it will not be anywhere close to the time you have invested in that. I hope to be done in 6 weeks, just fresh paint, interior, and slight engine mods. Rex

RE: HUMMER POLL
I have a 95 h1, and just sold my 03 h2. They both suck for gas mileage, aerodynamic as a block wall. I prefer the h1 for off roading as I take it into the sand dunes at least once a week, and just stomping around the desert a few times a week. If I lived in a wooded area a jeep would be my first choice. The H1 is not a huge vehicle, but is heavy 10300 gvw is what the sticker says on the door jam. It handles completely different off road. Almost always has at least one tire off the ground when going over technical obstacles. I personally do not like the h3, but do see alot of them on the road. The h2 I had was not stable with any type of offroading, very top heavy, but had nice gearing in low range.

Newbie
Hello from Arizona. After lurking around here for a few weeks, I sold my T-maxx, and just orderd a fg stadium truck due here from kevs racing bits early next week![:D] [:D] I got a few things to upgrade--steel gears, and gear cover to go with it, but was wondering what other weak points to look for in the stadium truck. I have played with a Marder that my friend has had for a few months, and just got tired of tuning my T-maxx while my buddy was tooling around the track. Are the parts all the same with the Marder, and Stadium truck? Has a long travel kit been produced for the fg's yet? Any input for what to expect from the Stadium truck will be appriciated! Thanks.........Rex
