RE: E Flite Eratix 3D 25e ARF Owners Club
I know of about 12 Eratix's in the air and I know of NO ONE flying with flaperons or spoilerons!! Not needed. It slows so you can walk beside of it and does all the manuvers that I am capable of performing, without anything extra. ENJOY !!

A BIG 10-4 to that, two fixes later!!! I often would see friends with an Eratix and another in a box, unbuilt. I couldn't figure why someone would want two of the same planes. THEN , I got one and now ,I have a spare NIB, Just In Case!!!! Also with Scorpion SII3020-710-60 amp ESC-4 cell 25c, 3600ma-14X7 Xoar Prop-Unlimited vertical and Not too heavy! I think this is a COMMON Problem; and it is warned aganist excessive speeds, which we ALL seem to like!! I have sealed the gaps, strenghtened the aileron trailing edge, and made sure of NO SLACK in control arms, TO NO AVAIL!!!! The only way I have found to NOT get any flutter, is to DECREASE my speed in downlines, etc. GOOD LUCK-If anyone has any better suggestions I am up to trying anything within reason. Chris , awaiting your maiden with the Scorpion Motor. I have been looking at them with interest lately. I have the Eratix with a Power 46-60 AMP ESC (E-Flite)13X8E APC Prop-TP 4S 3850MAH Battery Pack. My power is GREAT, I just think I could cut some weight and increase watts at the same time. Really, I think I am just looking for an excuse to get a second Eratix !!!-WOODIE

RE: Ultimate 20-300 10e E-Flite
Waiting for my Spektrum Digital Servo Programmer to arrive. Went with suggested Spektrum servos, and as the instructions say, you must use programmer to get enough throw, even for low rates. Even using ALL manual help on control horns and servo connections! I will not use these servos again, if you have to purchase more equipment just to use the product. EVERYTHING ELSE was Superb as far as the build went. I was super impressed with the kit after having received an E-flite "Pitts" , and it had the well known hiccups, and having to return my "Eratix" for wing replacement once and then for fuselage being crushed on same. My Pulse 25 was Excellent in every way including flight performance. Let me preface this with; I couldn't have been treated any better dealing with Customer Service at Horizon Hobbies. But again, having to purchase a servo programmer, even though it says to in the instructions," IS NOT GOOD", in my book!! I have been waiting for about 2 weeks for the promised Programmer to arrive at my LHS. As soon as I receive it I will look forward to posting a Favorable Flight Report !!! BLUE SKIES TO ALL !!!-WOODIE

E-Flite Ultimate 20-300
I just purchased the new Ultimate by E-flite. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the build, or any suggestions. Being a new plane, I ordered the recommendations in the instruction manual. Spektrum, Digital Servos, E-Flite 40 Amp ESC, E-Flite Power 10 motor was recommended (out of stock, so I ordered Power 15), ThunderPower Extreme V2 3S-2200mah Battery Pack. I am relatively new to Electric Flight, so any Help will be appreciated!- WOODIE

10 C Twin Aileron Servo Problem ?
I installed the 14 channel receiver in my H9 Extra 260(27%). Hooked up channels 1 and 6 as directed, turned elevator function off, turned system to "act" , Nothing happens on channel 6 servo. I switched sides to ck servo and it is OK. Left aileron will not move !! I correct that, when I put in full left rudder, the left aileron flutters. I have installed this function many times in my 9C Super with NO problems. I did change the Transmitter over to 10 C-2.4ghz on the Home screen. I am running a 6 volt system with Hitec HS5645 Didital Servos.====PLEASE HELP !!!!

RE: Extra 260 27% Hangar 9er
Just purchased this plane pre-built and I have never flown 3D and don't have any intentions. I have an OS 160 already, I am going to install. I tried reading 80 to 90% of this thread and couldn't find what is the recommended Prop size for the 160 ??I have Hitec 5645's all around. Any suggestions as to Balancing with the 160 ? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! I've only been flying a short while. Also, I am over 60 and my eyes are not getting any better, so I thought a little larger plane might help?? RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB
I am getting ready to get the 90-120 Yak and install an OS 160 engine. I can't seem to find throughout this post any suggestions as to balancing, etc with the 160. Where to mount battery, rec., etc. Things I should watch out for with this combo. I am thinking about running a perry pump so as to be able to mount fuel tank more aft ?? I have Hi-tec Digital Servos and a 6 volt battery intended for this plane. I have never used a pump or this size engine before. I am not CURRENTLY into 3D, just getting my feet wet and wanting to learn for a 60 + year old, with depth perception creeping up on me !!![sm=confused.gif] Any suggestions or recomendations will be GREATLY appreciated !!! Many Thanks---------WOODIE
