There are now 3 Reaction 54 at our field ( Farview R/C Flyers) I'm the news of the group, bought it used with a P-70 so far had 6 flights enjoying the plane. attach picture, enjoy. dave

Rolled the field Sunday and Tuesday, extended the length further then last year, with all the rain we just had rolled good, looking forward to this years event. dave

I have a love for vintage airplanes, this winter i build a big Taube from inlarged Balsa USA plans with some changes. The plane flys great very scale like and with the Il-300 engine sound good too, here are a few pictures, enjoy. dave

Sentimental, Thanks for the kind words and the heads up on your event. Ill be goint to Top Gun at the end of the month as a crew member for a friend that's the pilot. My home field will host 3 events this summer, we have a 55 acre closed golf coures were we fly that make it posable to do project like this one. Had a successful flight today in about 10 mph wind didnt seam to matter. Expected more power from the engine but had it rich (being new) so that should inprove. Landing was nice and soft and no trim was needed for the flight, however may be a little tail heavy need some more time with it to tell, but flys realisticly. enjoys the pic. dave

Thanks Al, with the flaperon i can use flaps or spoilers, that way a can reduce the lift if need.

Thanks for the kind words DaveB, I used 3 rolls of 15 ft. Cream (COVQ0408 Coverite 21st Century Fabric and a friend made the black iron cross in vinyl. I see we are not to far apart, the club were i fly is the Farview r/c Flyers. About ready for the maiden, finished weight 27lbs, wing loading 20 oz. used a B&B 32 oz tank JR 9303 2.4 radio. Build a glowplug heater 5 amp switch with 4- 3800 mAh ni-cd batteies parallel light up from idle to 1/3 throttle. If all go well this will be a work in progress adding detail for a while.
