RE: Recommended Prop size for 12v 8100rpm boat
Hi jc Unfortunately the 36mm props will be too big for these motors to run well - they are designed for the bigger 540/ 550 sized motors (like a D cell battery) and will cause the motors to bog down. The 380 motors normally use a prop in the 25-28mm diameter range to run at high speed. Does your hobby shop have anything suitable in that range that fits your prop shafts? -yellow-bird

RE: Recommended Prop size for 12v 8100rpm boat
Hello jc If you look for something with a 50A peak rating that should be OK - you can stall the props if you get weeds wrapped around them but that's normally only for a few seconds. -yellow-bird
