RE: Gran Turismo 5
looks pretty good, i wonder if the cars and track feel realistic. i might get it for pc although i sometimes cant get any time to race outside of iracing(im ranked 166th right now out of thousands of ppl and trying to keep it that way) i've been racing simulators for the past year. using a black momo with g25 pedals with a nixim brake mod and i could never see myself using a controller for any sort of racing.

RE: 8ight 2.0 servos. Pitch 'em or keep 'em?
servos will last as long as you have your endpoints set correctly. and ace servos are good, i run a 1313 for steering and from throttle

RE: Shock Socks
ORIGINAL: INTEGRA Imo they are not worth it....like most say all they do is trap in the dirt that is present
i agree but disagree. i agree with you on this if you just leave them on. i only see bashers doing this as most bashers dont really clean their stuff. me on the other hand i clean mine after most qauls, before mains and after each race.

RE: What is the point
i dont think the mods are bad around here. now, i can say the same about some members. ive seen tons of people post asking for help or an opinion and they got bashed. ive seen members post about their new rc they just bought, then get bashed by people saying they shouldnt have bought that, they should have bought this and etc. i remember i asked the simple question of what color rims would look good on a beige car, posted a pic then got bashed for the car i drive. some people need to get over themselves

RE: piston seized on hyper 7
ORIGINAL: foxfloat OK so i just started to break in my hyper 7 i ran 2 tanks of gas through it just idling and on the second tank i just let it run out of gas and then 30 minutes i tried starting it again the pull start was locked up and i took apart and found out that my piston was seized up. dose anyone have any idea why? should i just turn it into my factory warranty?
im guessing that when you turned it off, you didnt check to make sure the piston was at bdc? always makes sure its at bdc before you let it cool. the sleeve expands when in use and if you let it cool with the piston at the top of its stroke, when it contracts after cooling it will seize up
