Jets Over the Heartland June 28-July 1, 2012
This is the official 2012 Jets Over the Heartland event thread. The "Original" Fly from when you can until you can't jet meet .Wanna fly at 6:30 in the morning when the air is still, no problem! Wanna get that last flight in before dark, no problem again! Come early and fly during the longest days of the year! It typically gets dark at 9:30 to 10:00 but after that the flying is not thru yet! Bring your foamy/park flyers and fly under our stadium lights kindly donated by David Reid. The facility offers a 50’ X 800’ paved runway with open approaches. On-site camping is available. Saturday night dinner and awards followed by our traditional fireworks display. Registration is $40. Early Arrivals are always welcome. See the attached flyer for Hotel and contact information. The weather has been great here in Northern Indiana so we have been taking full advantage. Dad and I have over 30 dives so far this year. There are 5 of us in the local club that regularly dive.
