Old Pro-15 tmaxx w/ picco 21 now what diffs?
So what diff options do I have? The picco .21 small block has destroyed my rear ring gear twice now. Is UE my only option @ 260 or is there anything less???? Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Nitro for nine year old
ORIGINAL: NStampede Freak From what I hear, the chaos diffs are trash and there is no upgrade for them. I know because I was going to buy a chaos and researched it. They say that the chaos isn't even worth $90 because it has so many problems.[X(] I still think the Nitro Stampede would be the best for him. Parts are fairly cheap, it is fast, and it is super easy to tune because it has the pro.15 engine.[:D]
[8|][8|][8|][8|] I'm not going to thread crap. But please send me some proof of this in a pm. I've heard of no problems, obviously plastic diff gears would be a problem for a .21. But the Chaos has a .05.

Heck get him an 1/16th scale Sportwerks Chaos. In stores their back to $199+ but you can still pick them up on ebay for under $90!

Sierra Vista/Fort Huachuca Arizona?
Thinking about getting a buggy again. Is there any good shops/tracks in this area? I'll be moving there (military) next week.

RE: Picco 21
The picco is a great engine!! BEWARE it will smoke your driveline!! Mine pulls INSANE wheelies and has AWSOME acceleration. But it keeps blowing diffs and tranny gears. The picco is a great engine for the money but honestly i think it has to much power. The os 18 has less power and will probably work better.

RE: Fantom .27
ORIGINAL: roscoe71 fantoms are junk same engine as the wasp 28 all these engines do is chuck rods and the sleeve and piston go south very quik. i had one in my lst and only got a gallon out of it and they wouldnt warrenty it and my buddy had one in his 777 and same thing chucked a rod at one gallon. if you whant a .27 i suggest an ofna picco 27 or the werks collari picco 27 both come in pull start and non pull syart versions and both are good engines and easy to tune and last alot longer.
I agree I've got the Picco 27 in mine and it runs soo nice. Want to buy another as a spare but I keep seem to be spending money elsewhere.
ORIGINAL: jdmintegra18 i hope this engine will be better than the force .26 that comes on the ofna mbx....ive used picco engines on boats before and if they are anything like they are on water ....the buggy should fly
You will LOVE it!!! But I did the same swap as you, and the exhaust off the force 26 wont work on the 27. As far as I know the most potential pipe for that engine is the JP-2! It just hauls like a raped ape!!

THE Fastest accelerating & Best Handling Monster/Truggy on the Market now is the Ofna Jammin X1-CRT Without a doubt this will dominate the track and even keep up with the 1/8 buggies!

RE: How do you clean your buggy?
For a damp dirty track: Air compressor. For a dry track that leaves that hard to get off dirt: Nitro cleaner, windex, or 409 lightly sprayed to the dirty areas then air compressor.

RE: X1CR or 777 SP2
ORIGINAL: supralative I have owned the Jammin Pro and 777 SP1. Jammin felter better planted on a some what rough track with a good sweeper corner. Just a bit better than the 777 SP1, but what sold me on the 777 was one jump on my local track. No matter what I did and what setup changes I did, I could not get the Jammin to hold its nose level or bring it up. It always dropped the nose, while the 777 SP1 did it with no problems at all. I think a Jammin with some Kyosho 777 SP2 shocks will be a killer buggy!!!
The brakes were probably slightly dragging.

RE: flywheel not reaching starter box!
ORIGINAL: thatguyiscool Thanks got it reaching now, one more thing, im trying to start up an engine for the very first time, and when the flyeheel touches the spinner, the spinner just stops dead. I've heard that this will happen with new engines. Can anyone give me some tips on how to loosen the engine up so i can turn it over with my starter box!! Thanks
Are the batteries fully charged on the box? Are you letting it fully spool up? Is it the correct box for the application? I've got the picco 27 which has sooo much compression, yet my ofna chrome top can turn it over fine.

RE: What makes a better racing buggy?
Somthings that I think make a great race buggy: Powerfull afforadable .21 (Ofna Hyper 21 8port is a great engine and will smoke the os rg) A Good tuned Pipe (my recomendation is a JP-1 for small more technical tracks and a JP-2 for everything else) Fast/Powerful steering servo (A servo with .15 time and atleast 130oz of tq would be perfect!) FM Radio (I had an XR3i when I started and it was a GREAT radio. Felt great and had nice features) Starter Box (Theres one out there that everyone likes, and I personaly can vouch for! Ofna Chrome top!) With that you could pickup a pretty new roller buggy off ebay or the forum. BTW The 7 TQ would make a nice starter for anyone.
